Beral Hance Memorial Scholarship Fund
High school seniors residing and graduating from a high school in Castro County, Texas are eligible for this award. Students must enroll full time at Texas Tech University or Texas A&M University and maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher while in college.
Alvin A. and Hattie Mae Bush Accounting Scholarship
Undergraduate students residing in one of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas panhandle OR those who are planning to attend an eligible Texas college are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and plan to enroll full time in an accounting program.
Nancy Gerald Memorial Nursing Scholarship
Current college juniors or seniors majoring in nursing full time at Amarillo College or Texas A&M University are eligible for this award. Students must maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher in college and be residents of one of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas panhandle.
Baptist Life Scholarship
This award is for full-time U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are insured (either a base policy or a rider) on a Baptist Life Association permanent life insurance certificate, term life insurance certificate, or annuity for two years or more prior to May 31. A $1,000 award is being offered.
CIRI General Semester Scholarship
This award is for U.S. undergraduate or graduate students. Students must enroll full time and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
Amarillo Handgunners Association – The Bill Goodson Memorial Scholarship
High school seniors with a ‘C’ average residing in one of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas panhandle are eligible for this award. Students must be engaged in or sincerely interested in a shooting sport or activity. Click here to learn how to apply.
Salamatof Native Association Inc. (SNAI) Scholarship
Alaska Natives who are original enrollees, the spouses of original enrollees, descendants or adopted children of an original enrollee of the Salamatof Native Association are eligible to apply for this award. Students must be high school seniors or current undergraduate students with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
Malouf and Iris Abraham Scholarship Fund
High school seniors with a grade point average of 3.2 or higher who are residents of Wheeler, Roberts, Gray, Hemphill, Ochiltree, or Limpscomb counties are eligible for this award. Students must enroll full time in an agriculture degree at Clarendon College, Oklahoma Panhandle State University, West Texas A&M University, or Texas Tech University.
