This scholarship is for those who want to take part in a non credit bearing international experience. For e.g., a service learning trip. Priority goes to Honors College students who show both need and merit. And, who make a strong case for why they deserve to go. One time awards range from $1,000 to $2,000 given availability of funds.

NAACP’s Agnes Jones Scholarship
The NAACP Agnes Jones Jackson Scholarship honors its namesake who was a long time member from the San Francisco branch with up to 40 scholarships for graduating high school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students based on GPA and financial need.
Matt and JoAnn Butler Youth Development Scholarship
Girl Scouts unleashes the G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™. They offer leadership development and life skills training for girls. Their mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. This award comes from Matt and JoAnn Butler.
NSLS New Member Scholarship
NSLS is a Leadership Honor Society. They have over 1.2 million members at 717 colleges nation wide. The New Member Scholarship recognizes excellent students in their first semester as NSLS members. For this scholarship, 10 recipients each get $1,000 and a Certificate of Accomplishment.
IEEE Presidents’ Scholarship
Managed by the IEEE Foundation and administered by IEEE Educational Activities, the scholarship includes: $10,000 payable over four years of undergraduate university study and Complimentary IEEE Student membership. A second-place award in the amount of $600 and a third-place award in the amount of $400 are also presented.
NSLS Online Member Scholarship
NSLS is a Leadership Honor Society. They have over 1.2 million members at 717 colleges nation wide. The Online Member Scholarship awards students who are enrolled in an online chapter of the NSLS or are enrolled in online education classes. For this award, 5 members will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.
NSLS Living Leadership Scholarship
The Advanced Leadership Certification explores topics like Diversity of Styles, Emotional Intelligence, and Leveraging Your Strengths while also outlining how to identify and secure a mentor. Students also acquire the skills needed to navigate the challenging situations. For this award, 5 members will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.
National Technical Honor Society Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to two (2) qualified FCCLA members, who are also current members of the National Technical Honor Society. Recipients will be selected based on their contribution and leadership within Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, as well as the National Technical Honor Society.
Jon H. Poteat Scholarship
Named in honor and memory of NTHS Co-Founder, the Jon H. Poteat Scholarship is reserved exclusively for currently enrolled secondary and postsecondary NTHS members in an active chapter. On June 1, NTHS will award 250 $1,000 JHP Scholarships to eligible members. The application is open from September 1 – May 1.
FCCLA Memorial Scholarship
Applicants should be FCCLA members who exhibit outstanding leadership, community service, and demonstrate well-roundedness through various activities. A one-time scholarship award of $2,500 will be payable directly to the college or university they are enrolled in for the fall semester. Funds must be toward education expenses.
