The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid offers scholarship opportunities to enrolled students at North Carolina State University. Synchrony Tech Careers Scholarship for Autistic Adults
The Synchrony Tech Careers Scholarship supports autistic adults with obtaining professional, tech-related credentialing and certifications to help them enter or advance their careers in the technology sector. Acceptable certificate/certification programs include but are not limited to the following areas: game/app development, cyber security, web development, machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing, ethical hacking, and artificial intelligence. Two or four-year degree programs are not eligible for this scholarship.
The Gertrude E. Hasbrouck Memorial Scholarship
The Gertrude E. Hasbrouck Memorial Scholarships are four annual awards of $3,500 each, awarded independently by the Hasbrouck Family Association. Additional scholarships may be awarded by the Hasbrouck Family Association under appropriate circumstances. Applicants must be of documented New Paltz Huguenot descent, and are required to submit an ancestry form.
The Kenneth E. Hasbrouck, Sr. History Scholarship
The Kenneth E. Hasbrouck Memorial Scholarship, administered jointly with the Hasbrouck Family Association, is a $1,000 award that may be divided if necessary. Applicants must be undergraduate students studying historic preservation, architecture, the conservation of artifacts and manuscripts, and/or the education of the public about local history in accordance with HHS’ mission.
The Lucille Stoeppler Baker Scholarship
Historic Huguenot Street promotes outstanding research and scholarship among students in such topical areas as decorative arts, Indigenous history and culture, the African American experience in the Hudson Valley, and Huguenot history and culture. The scholarships are offered to eligible undergraduate and graduate students in collaboration with Historic Huguenot Street and the Hasbrouck Family Association. Awards will be applied to the upcoming Spring semester.
