This scholarship is available for high school seniors who are 4-H members and residents of the Northeast District of North Carolina.
Anne Kristine Barnes Scholarship
This scholarship is available for high school seniors who are 4-H members and residents of North Carolina’s Northeastern Extension District. Students must plan to attend an institution of higher education in North Carolina in the fall of the year that they apply for the scholarship.
L.R. Harrill 4-H Support Scholarship
This scholarship is available for North Carolina high school seniors who are 4-H members. Students must plan to attend an institution of higher education in North Carolina in the fall of the year that they apply for the scholarship.
Vernon James 4-H Family Scholarship
This scholarship is available for high school seniors who are 4-H members and plan to attend North Carolina State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Preference goes first to applicants from Pasquotank County, NC. If no qualified applicants are available, then preference goes to applicants from Camden, Currituck, Perquimans and Chowan counties in NC.
District 4-H Development Fund Scholarship
This scholarship is available for North Carolina high school seniors who are 4-H members.
GCSAA Legacy Award
International and U.S. high school seniors or current undergraduate students who are enrolled full time (unless current or former military) at an accredited institution are eligible for this award. Students must be the children/grandchildren of a member of The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA).
Virginia Military Survivors and Dependents Education Program (VMSDEP)
This award is for U.S. undergraduate students who are currently attending or planning to attend a public, state-supported postsecondary institution in Virginia. The student must be a child or spouse of a military service member who was killed, missing in action, taken prisoner, or who became at least 90 percent disabled as a result of military service in an armed conflict.
Rosa L. Parks Undergraduate/Graduate Scholarship
U.S. undergraduate students with 60 or more semester credit hours or master’s degree candidates with 15 or more semester credits are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and be enrolled in a transportation-related discipline.
