Work really hard, and don't slack on anything, And the teachers you think are tough, they are. But that only means you have to work and push yourself. Don't give up, and when you feel like the world turned it's back on you, keep pushing through, cause it's all worth it in the end, You can do this!

If I could go back and talk to myself as a high school senior, now knowing what I know about college life, I would give myself only a few simple words of advice. I would first tell myself to talk with the advising office in order to plan out my academic classes to ensure that I wouldn?t fall behind, and in order to plan out how to be financially prepared for my future years at school. Then, I would advise myself to organize my weeks efficiently so that I could have enough time for homework, work, and social activities to avoid additional and unnecessary stress. Finally, I would encourage myself to enroll in school clubs and to take advantage of study abroad opportunities that are offered to gain a more cultural and eye-opening experience. All of these things combined would allow for me to have a more enjoyable and beneficial college experience.

College life is a whole new world. What you've learned over the past 4 years is only a fraction of what you need to know in order to face the challenges the real world will present to you. College will help you face those challenges by adding to your current knowledge criticle thinking skills. You will develope insight understanding why people make good or poor decisions. And best of all you will learn that your new college peers, who are from various countries around the world, will think your values and beliefs are pretty strange and weird to.

Although it may be tempting to choose a college that many of your friends are going to, it's important to make that decision based on what school will benefit your needs. Choosing a college should be based on how well the institution will prepare you for a career and help build life-long skills. I am a strong believer in group work and discussions because this not only helps understand material more fully, but also builds skills that will help in the work force and in everyday life. This also enables positive interaction between students and faculty which only enriches the learning environment. Colleges should create a comfortable and friendly environment, and teaching techniques are apart of that. Colleges should offer a variety of learning approaches to benefit each student. By presenting material in a variety of ways students will be able to connect on a multitude of levels. Making the most of your college experience consists of being open-minded, working hard, getting help when needed, and involving yourself in campus activities. The best college experience won't come from just taking classes, but from discovering and participating in numerous opportunities the campus has to offer.

I believe that the student should really research the college they plan on attending. My school fits me perfect but only because I looked into other schools and found my perfect fit.
