This school was most convenient when considering my academic goals. It allows me to fulfill my lower devision under-graduate requirements at a reasonable rate, while establishing residency (as I am an out of state student).

I think the most unique thing about arc is that they have so many resource centers, for math, science, reading, english. They want to see you succeed and go become somethig great.

American River College has a very broad range of courses to ensure the maximum amount of education. Even with the massive student population, the professors still manage to be personal and helpful. With extracuricular activities, such as sports teams, I've made life-long friendships with the players and staff. The campus could be a little overwhelming at first, but the ARC community surely is warming. Of course, the American River mascot is truly a unique one in itself. Who wouldn't want to be an American River Beaver?

I think that American river college is very unique. Specifically, the students that attend there. There are all mix of races and ethnicities. I also enjoy the variety of classes availabe at the school.

American River College has a wide range of programs from Accounting , Hospitality Management, to Welding Technology. American River College makes avaiable resources to international students, veterans, and students with dissablities. ARC helps international students by issueing the I-20 form. For veterans and their dependents , who are stationed , ARC grantes resident status. ARC gives support services to students with disiblities such as extended time on exams. American River College is also accessible by public transporation.

It was the closest school to where I lived and since I only have a Driver's permit and I don't have my own car it was the best choice for me.
