Aurora University is truly inclusive: professors no their students by name and truly connect, even outside of the classroom. The campus has many socially-orientated organizations that deal with issues such as homelessness, human rights, and voluneering, and they are all fantastic! The sports teams also all seem to be really tightly-knit.

I loved how small the class sizes were compared to all other schools. I never liked big classes so it was perfect! Along with how the school provides classrooms online for education majors and partnership schools that keep all of their students involved throughout their time at Aurora. They keep all the education majors strongly involved with the schools in the area and throw us in with the faculty as soon as possible.

What makes my school unique is that it is small schools with 2000 students giving a more intimate feel than bigger schools have. The teachers work hard to try and help each student to the best of their abilities and the students know each other pretty well here. The teachers try to get students interested in activities happening at the school and help them find internships. The posters around school are of students who actually go to this school and when you visit this school you feel welcomed into it from the moment you get here.

From the first day I visited Aurora Unversity, it felt like home away from home. The atmosphere was so inviting, friendly, caring and it just felt right. I have one semester under my belt here at AU and it's been great so far. The professors are so willing to help you succeed. My advisor has been on top of my program of study to make sure I'm on track with my class selections. All in alll, I'm very satified with my choice. AU has exceeded my expectations.

It is a small campus so it is very easy to get around and no people on campus. This also helps with the class sizes because I promise your professors will remember you.

I love the small campus feel Aurora University offers. Students and faculty are friendly and very helpful. Class sizes are small, but it's great to get to know your classmates and professors on a one on one basis. There is always something to do on campus; whether it's extracurricular activities, hanging out with friends, on campus jobs, and more. I learn a lot in my classes which has also helped me outside of school and apply it in my intenships. Tuition is fair, and AU has great resources for students to make college affordable.

Aurora University is unique in finding out information about everything from social life, drama, or activities. The school is small therefore things spread quick across campus even where commuters find out the same information as on campus students.

Aurora University is the perfect sized campus for me; it's not too big but it's not too small. Life on campus is a very friendly and comfortable environment and it's easy to make new friends with similar interests and similar academic/career paths. As opposed to some of the other institutions I had considered, Aurora University makes me feel extremely welcome, at home, and appreciated.

Auroa University has free printing, and also a place in the library for the study to study is absolutely quite atmosphere.

The campus is small and compact, so getting from one class to another in a short amount of time is easy. If the weather is bad (such as rain storms) it is easy to get from one building to another to stay dry and safe. Aurora University has a lot of events that they plan for students that are a lot of fun and an easy way to get to know a lot of people. Some of the events are hypnotists and psychics.

It's close to home for me which is great! It has a great program for Business majors. The thing that won me over is the May term, which offers a three week international business course in which you can study abroad for about a week, as well as study in the classroom. It is a great opportunity for me and the career path I have chosen. They also help students find internships that can turn into potential jobs.

One aspect of the Aurora Institution that i would consider unique is the rate at which we obtain jobs and careers for our graduates. Though there are many other unique qualities about Aurora, I feel this is most important because the reason we attend college is to obtain a job. So if they are providing jobs at a high rate for graduates it is a wonderful opportunity to come out of college and enter directly into the work force.

AU has a BSN program that allows for me to take my classes in a cohort program in a hosptial near me. I also meet with a tutor that is part of my tuition, convienent times, too.

My school is a private school, it is much smaller than the other schools i looked at which i love because it gives me one on one time with all my teachers.

Compared to Missouri, Minnesota, and Illinoise State, Aurora University is able to provide lectures within classrooms with a maximum of 20 students and with professors who have very flexible after-hours to help any student that requests for extra help. If prospective students are looking for a school that can honestly provide professors with the extra time to meet up and aid students, Aurora University would be one of the best schools to consider.

The small campus size and the friendly environment really helped sway my choice to Aurora University. Everyone I met was friendly and everything seemed within reasonable walking distance; the school just felt right. Other schools I visited had too many frat houses and people shouting all over campus. Aurora University seemed peaceful in comparison.

Small community based university

I like that the counselors and teachers do their best to help you succeed in class, and help you meet deadlines for anything else you need for your degree. The campus likes to get their students involved in campus activities, and other students are easy to meet and get along with.

I liked the nursing program. I felt it was a good match for me. I also like the school campus. It is a small school that is in the middle of a cute neighborhood. I am not an urban, city girl so a college in a nice,close area was important to me.
