The city-Boston is truly a college city. Anywhere you go here you see college students and other young professionals. Its inspiring!

There isn't much to say about BU that is good. I could go on and on about how poor the academics, are how poor the food service is, and how poor the housing facilities are. Or about how run down the buildings are, how the university wastes energy, and how the students are never given an opportunity to voice their opinions or concerns. Or how everything is over prices, the university is taking advantage of the rich parents' money, and how there is very little value in doing to this school. But you want something good? The location only.

BU is absolutely what you make of it.... being in the middle of Boston is a large part of that. If you want to network with professionals, be a social butterfly, hear top academics lecture, or melt into the culture of the city, you have a good chance. BU is dauntingly huge, but once you get over the initial mayhem, it's a great place to figure yourself out and be your own person.

BU is a great academic institution that is divided into separate schools and colleges that can give students more of a sense of community.

The best thing about Boston University is the academic and extra curricular programs and facilities offered on campus. The Boston University Community Service Center provides students over a dozen of volunteer programs; intramural sports are a great way to make friends and stay active. Our fitness facility, the BU Fitness and Recreation Center is a state-of-the-art facility that gives those associated with the university and the community at large the opportunity to climb a rock wall, swim a wonderful competition pool, take a fitness class, or just exercise freely.

The best thing about my school is the professors who are all intellectual, kind-hearted beings.

The resources available, the quality of the facilities, and the information gathered from class as well. There are some teachers who aren't the greatest at engaging and making lectures exciting but on the other end there are a good amount who are good lecturers. For the most part most of the professors are available to meet with and get in touch with. The atmosphere is comfortable. I haven't felt out of place yet because of the diverse population that attends this school.

It's located in the city of Boston. There is a city-like atmosphere, but it still has a campus separate from downtown Boston. I love this because if there is nothing to do on campus, I can always go downtown.
