What is the stereotype of students at Clarkson University? Is this stereotype accurate?

Leonel

Geeks from local villages near by, this stereotype is wrong. Though engineering is a big major there are many other great majors. Yes many students come from very small towns, but Clarkson has a diverse campus with students from different parts of the country

I honestly can't think of any specific stereotypes that I have heard about Clarkson. Overall it is a very diverse University and there is something for everyone. There is a relatively balanced presence of organizations, clubs, athletics, professional societies, speed teams, and greek life.

This stereotype isn't completely accurate. Walking around campus you will see those who really do love computer coding for fun, but then again there are so many majors available here there is quite a bit of diversity among the students. Everyone will find their niche here at Clarkson University.

Being a school filled with Engineers I would say Clarkson is most commonly stereotyped with video gaming nerds! Clarkson is so much more! There is such a variety of students ranging from exchanged students to townies! Clarkson is filled with athletes, greeks, geeks, and so much more!

Base on my experiences so far, I believe there are three stereotypes at Clarkson. One, Greek Societies. Two, Engineering and Science Majors. Third Business Majors. Those are the stereotype that I can identify right off from walking through the hall way for the first semester. Is it a good thing? I am not sure because everyone seems to get along fine.
