Someone who would rather be known by their name on the campus should attend there. On big campuses like University of South Carolina of Columbia, most of the students are just numbers. Coastal is a tight, well-knit, but expanding community. The people are nice and you meet someone new everyday. Also someone who likes or loves the beach should go there. The beach is the icing on the cake. That warm breeze feels like home to me. All my life I have lived by the beach.

Someone who likes to be known by name and not just a number should attend this school. You can't go to Coastal without loving or liking the beach. It makes the experience worth wild.

Someone who enjoys a rather small campus and classes that the teacher knows you on a first name basis. This college is great for athletics as well and the teaching staff is very good. You meet alot of people on this campus due to size and it is really safe.

Any type of person should attend this school! There is a huge diversity of students attending this university. You just need to like southern weather and southern hospitality.

There truely is a class at Coastal for everyone. They offer a wide variety of subjects from Art to Sciences. Anyone would benefit from attending Coastal. The Staff is professional and knowledgable but most of all approachable. They do not treat you as a number or potental income. They really care about the students and go out of their way to make sure you are getting the most out of your education and your needs are being met. I am from upstate NY and they took the scary out of attending a school out of state.
