Most students seem to be Christian and/or conservative. Well, I'm atheist and liberal, but it doesn't bother me. Just because you're not religious or have similar political views doesn't mean you can't fit in with people and make friends. A lot of people's backgrounds seem to be pretty diverse--that makes it interesting.

I dont think anyone would feel out of place at CSU. Most students wear sweats to class. Csu students are mostly from Colorado. Most students come from middle-class families.

Most students are pretty casual and wear jeans, flip flops, and a hoodie or tee shirt.

The financial background of students is varied some students drive BMW's and others eat top romin for most meals.

CSU is most definitely lacking in the diversity section of its student body. There are many groups geared towards specific groups but the member numbers are low. A student who has their mind set on experiencing the world would feel out of place here. The majority of people I run into lack in the longing to get out of their little 'bubbles'. Most students call Colorado their home and are a very privelaged kind of people. Students will hands down pretend they are politically aware but once you start delving into the topic they turn their heads and talk about how much they hate a certain class.

The only students who would feel out of place at CSU would be those who like being alone, yet even here at CSU i've seen plenty of students from high school who once talked to no one and are now walking with big crowds of friends

THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE FROM DIFF. CULTUTER WHICH IS NICE BECAUSE YOU GET TO LEARN A LOT ABOUT LOTS OF PLACES AROUND THE WORLD.

The students are generally accepting and there is does not seem to be real strong lines between different groups. CSU does lack diverisity though. Im not sure how my experience sould have been different if I were a minority, but I think that most everyone feels comfortable at CSU.

I haven't really experienced any racial or religious issues at CSU, but i'm sure they occur! I just feel like CSU is a melting pot of different kinds of people with different views and beliefs. I think we all see it as a positive thing instead of bashing it! Different "types" of students interact with eachother, on campus and off!

The student body at CSU is a giant melting pot. Nobody is really out of place, CSU has everyone with everything attached.

The only experience I had with religion on campus was seeing people protesting outside and students have debates. Most students wear comfortable clothes to class, like sweats. Most students I have met at CSU are conservative.(Right)

None. I think that everyone can find someone to fit in with at CSU. Pepole wear whatever they like. There is no one style. Yes they intercat a little but eberyone has the friends they would rather be with. They are mostly from Fort Collins, (and denver) but so am i so maybe i just know a lot of people from here. There are a lot of especially rich kids here with their parents money. I dont know a lot of students(like me) who are putting themselves through school. They are mostly left i would say. No they dont really talk about that too much.

Sometimes I feel that I feel out of place on campus and that I'm different but the people here are cool and I've never really had no negative feedback.

there are many students here from india and saudia arabia and stuff... i feel bad for them because they cant speak english and it makes me wonder why they are here because it is clear that they are unable to learn what they are being taught an it also makes me wonder... are the standards lower for them? how else would they pass. i would sa many of the csu students are from colorado but im not sure. the dining hall is nothing like high school in my opinion, you sit with whoever you want. prevelant financial background appears to be wealthy. i dont notice the political side of things aroung campus. im busy with other things

I'm part of campus ministries and enjoy trying to get the word out about the Lord. Thats really the only experience with those kinds of groups on campus. most students wear jeans and a shirt to class. I've seen lots of different types of students interacting. Most CSU students are from instate, it seems. Some students are pilitically aware/active.

I have not had many experiences with those groups at college. I love how there is a wide variety of groups though. A student that would feel out of place at CSU would probably be someone who get's anxious around a lot of people, someone who doesnt do well getting around in a busier area. Students wear a variety of different things to class, it's all about personality. I cant say I have seen any overly revealing clothing though, but then again it is "winter" out here for some people. I would say, coming from Maine, that people out here are wealthier. I am sure a lot of students are politically aware me personally, aint. I don't get the next question haha sorry. I have never heard anyone at CSU talk about how much they will earn after college.

Most of the religious people on campus are very polite. They ask questions that some may think to be intrusive but it is done in a pleasant way. However, there is one radical religious man who makes it his goal to demonize all college students as sinners who are going to hell. I think that CSU is pretty welcoming to all students. I see people wearing a variety of styles. However, it seems that CSU is most prevalently white middle or upper middle class students.
