Describe the students at Colorado State University-Fort Collins.

The groups on campus are all open to everyone inviting to all and fun to join and be a part of. Students seem very aware in all the programs and signs they make. Students always talk to you and are always friendly

Vanessa

I am not sure exactly how the student body is....Like stated before I talk to some of the kids in my classes but then I head home right away.

Robin

Csu is not ht emost diverse campus, but I have never run into any problems. Most students were jeans and a sweatshirt. Normally something relatively comfy. Not super formal. most students are in-state. Most students come fom middle to uppermiddle class. Money isnt too big of an issue- in terms of paying tuition and stuff. Most students are conservative.

Kyle

Interesting.

I don't think that CSU is very racially diverse, but I know a number of friends of different ethnicities who are not discriminated against in the least. I also have a number of gay friends who are open about it, and not descriminated against. CSU is a pretty accepting place for the most part. I would say most of the population is upper middle class and christian, but I don't think that there is discrimination toward people from other back grounds. I wish the student body was more politically active, but there are some students who are.

Gene

What do the president and vice president actually do??

Carly

I do not think that our campus is diverse at all. I think everyone who is not white would probably not feel like they fit in more than people with different religious views, because you cannot see the difference. I think most students are from CO then TX, CA, MI.

Josh

The people at CSU are really cool. everyone is realy friendly except for the strange guy who works at the lsc who collects the trash but other than the people are awesome

Caitlin

Good diversity when it comes to student body. I have made a lot of great friends that i could not have found back home. The politics at CSU are great, giving everyone a chance to be heard.

Troy

For the most part CSU is a very accepting student body, compared to that of CU. Here if someone doesnt know you they will at least make an attempt to talk to someone they dont know, where if you were at CU if they dont know you they wont even talk to you to seem friendly. I know from past experiences to go hang with friends at CU, that they really are arrogant and dont know what its like to be accepting of all people.
