Students come from different backgrounds and the population is very diverse. I feel the school is in the middle politically and students do not talk about their potential earnings.

Carly

I dont have any experience with racial, religious groups on campus althought I am Jewish and I do know they there is a Jewish community offering me to be a part of it. I have seen soo many international students, more than I thought I would and I think that is great!

Justin

CSU is just as diverse as they advertise the college to be. The only student that would feel out of place would be the ones who come to college to party they mind into the gutter. People parrty here, but it is not as big of a deterant as in other colleges. This is in part due to the town, Fort Collins. Fort Collins is not a small town, but also not a big city town. It is just in the middle and holds many enjoyable persuits that do not involve drinking. Even if you enter a party that will serve alchohol, you will not be presured to drink.

Whitney

At CSU, most everyone is welcome and made to feel welcome, but of course the school has its quirks, and it is more difficult to find different races among the students because it is predominantly white. However I dont think anyone would feel looked down upon or like they were being discriminated against. The financial situation of most students is that their parents have money so they have money. Funny enough though, Boulder or CU has the reputation for having a lot of yuppies. Many students aspire to be wealthy, but it definitely depends on who you are talking to. It really depends on the major.

Torry

I think there is a wide range of groups including racial, LGBT, etc. From what I see all the groups interact well, I have never seen it otherwise. Most CSU students are from Colorado

Scott

CSU isn't one of the most diverse schools out there, but there is some diversity. Walking through campus you would see a few black students, a few more arabic students, and a lot of white students. The students do come from all over the country.

Dan

Lauren

I think CSU is very open to all races, religions and socal groups. No student should feel out of place. Most students are from Colorado but there are a good amount that are from other states.

John

The student body as a whole seems pretty relaxed. I don't think any student would feel out of place at CSU, there's a variety of different people. Students are generally casual when it comes to what they wear. Most students interact with each other, regaurdless of who they are. Most CSU students seem to be from somewhere in Colorado or somewhere international. Most students seem to be from the upper middle class. Depending on what classes you take, depends on which students are politically aware, and what grade they are in. it seems the younger students don't seem to be as political as the upperclassmen. Business and social work majors seem to be a little more political than the science or liberal arts majors. Campus seems to be divded equally politically.

Brian

CSU has so many unique types of people but everyone respects that and is very nice to one another. It seems no matter what group you are in you can meet someone in class and have a friendly attitude towards eachother even when your outside of the class.

I think we have a pretty diverse campus as far as personalities and steroe-types are concerned but our campus is predominately white.

Lane

Any minority would feel out of place i think. There is a small number of minorities, but that isnt a real problem because most of the people here are extremely nice. Until you get on the road of course.

Ryan

I think that the students at CSU are just like most young adults these days. We all have our own opinion and some base theirs off of there friends but there are a lot of independent thinkers out there. I think that the student body does a superb job in organizing events that raise awareness of political, social and world problems.

Reese

I do not think that any student would feel out of place here at CSU. The university does a fair job at featuring groups that are diverse enough. Every student here, in my opinion, should be able to find some club, group, or organization that would welcome them.

Jeff

I interact with all races and genders of students at CSU. Most students are caucasian, but they might be Australian or British, as they are in my dingin hall.
