Great school. Blue collared Ivy

Cornell has a beautiful campus and that is well suited to the number of students enrolled. It is a very big school which i think is good because I came from a small school where I've known the same people for 14 years. At Cornell I meet new people every day. The collegetown is not as comprehensive as I would like, but then again, Ithaca is a small place, so it's about what you would expect.

its a great school overall, I think everyone can find people they get along with and be happy here.

I think the campus is beautiful at cornell, even in the worst weather, the buildings and trees look beautiful. As far as things I would change, I think some of the professors are unapproachable and are not that interested in helping students (but I guess this is characteristic of most college campuses). I think there is a good amount of school pride but this would increase significantly if the athletic teams were better. For example, I think there was a lot more school pride because the basketball team did so well this year. I think as far as the most frequent complaints, would be students complaining about work loads.

The most frequent student complaints are about class registration. Students have to get up at 6:30 am to sign up for classes they want. The best thing about Cornell is the beautiful campus and fun students. I felt there was a lot of school pride this year with our men's and women's basketball teams winning the Ivy League. I spend most of my time on central campus near the clock tower, Willard Strait Hall, and Uris Library. One thing I would want to change is eliminate the gym membership and bus pass fee.

Cornell is a huge school with so much to offer. There are 13,000 undergraduate students and the campus is extrmely spacious and beautiful. On the way to class, I often cross a bridge that crosses a waterfall and the school has plantations, too. It's cold, and I think the temperature may turn a lot of people off, but it wasn't too bad this year. Anyway, the sledding is amazing and once it warms up, we are able to appreciate the wonderful weather so much more! I spend most of my time in my dorm, hanging out with friends, but we go out on the weekend and nights to parties, concerts, dinners, and speakers. There is certainly plenty to do.

cornell is one of the most beautiful places in the world and there are a million things to do on campus. ithaca is an amazing town with INCREDIBLE food (more restaurants per capita than NYC). the dining halls on campusare amazing. i am in a sorority and its pretty down to earth. people dont realize that i'm smart when they first meet me, so when i tell them that i go to cornell, they are always surprised. i love the reaction. i love spending time in Mann library (CALS library) and running outside. my favorite building is sage chapel. there is a TON of school pride. AEM was just named the fourth undergrad business program in the country. we have one of the best ice hockey, lacrosse, wrestling, and basketball teams in the country. people are always wearing cornell gear. there is a ton of work here. i couldnt imagine going anywhere else.

really large but there are a lot of ways to make it smaller people are impressed when i tell them i go to cornell spend most of my time in the dorms, dining halls, class, out, at the library everyone complains about the weather and having lots of work

I like the size of Cornell, it's big enough to not get bored, but small enough to not feel like you don't matter. People usually are impressed or intimidated when I saw I go to Cornell. I'm in a sorority and I like it, but sometimes I think that Greek Life is stressed too much.

Cornell is really big, which is great, and really well known, you get a lot of respect if you go here

The best thing about Cornell is that it is very diverse. There are so many different kinds of people and different majors in a small area that you get to meet a lot of interesting people, and it is rich in culture. Cornell is just the right size, at least in my opinion. When people hear I'm at Cornell for Engineering they think I'm insane. This is partially true because I feel the engineering school is way more work than is healthy for a college student. On campus I spend most of my time stressed out in a lab. Off campus I spend most of my time stressed out in my room doing work. Most of the student complaints are regarding the ridiculous work loads. The winter months are kind of rough, and can get pretty depressing. However, there are a lot of fun things to do here, and Slope Day is something I will never forget.

The school is just right--but the campus is too big. People react positively when I tell them I go to Cornell--they are impressed. Most of my time spent on campus is in my school--Hotel Administration building. Collegetown is nice, but I wish it was near a bigger city. It's really cold in the winter, but you definitely appreciate any sunshine. The school pride depends on the student.

the best thing about cornell is the life you will experience here. people are from all different places from all over the world and all walks of life. Collegetown is pretty good... a lot of cool restaurants. housing is really expensive, but you cannot live on campus after freshman year (unless its in a greek house, if you want any social life at all)

big school, offers a lot, diversity in people and things offered, i transferred here and am so happy i came to a bigger school with more motivated students. greek life really opened up a whole new social network to me and i feel i have become all around a lot more involved at cornell. basketball season was a highlight and it was really awesome seeing so many cornell students come out for the games and to support the team

Cornell is a beautiful school with challenging academics. My favorite part about Cornell is that there are so many clubs that one can join, so that every person can find something that fits their interests. Also, there are a lot of events that go on around campus, and I truly enjoy attending as many of them as possible in order to get the most out of my Cornell experience.

Cornell is perfect sized. The location is great, only 4 hours from New York City. Hockey was fun as a freshman. Basketball was great this year.

It is a big school with a small school feel. Cornell students are getting a priceless education taught by top-notch faculty members. We do have a college town where a lot of upper classmen live. Parties are mostly at fraternity houses and are unlike parties at any other school. Greek life is big, but you do not need to go greek to fit in.

Cornell is hard. It's stressful. But it teaches you to manage things well, and how to balance social, academic and extracurricular activities. It's the sort of place that if you can handle it, it makes you a tougher, more adept and capable person.

Cornell is a beautiful school--it is far away from anything, but there are very few places that are as beautiful (or gorges...haha). It can seem overwhelmingly large (in physical size) at first, but it gets pretty small pretty quick. You definitely have a good balance of seeing people that you know well and meeting new people in virtually any situation. We like our hockey--not much else in terms of sports.

It is beautiful. In the fall and spring it is a very happy place and everyone loves it. In winter it gets really cold and stressful and people don't like it. The location is rural, but it creates a strong campus environment and there is so much to do on campus all the time. That's why there is such a strong Greek life. And everything is free which is nice. It is a long walk to class, but you get used to it and everyone likes walking after the beginning of freshman year. There is a lot of school pride and everyone is proud to go here.
