I would tell myself to relax; everything will be alright in the end. College is stressful, but it isn't at all what people make it out to be--it is manageable.
Your GPA is not everything, so try not to sweat that C you might get in that statistics class. Make friends, get involved, and branch out from your comfort zone. No great stories start out with, "This one time when I was by myself in my room..."
College will be a great experience, filled with ups and downs, but that's life for you. Enjoy the ride.

I would tell myself that college is very important so do your best in high school because colleges look at the grades you have. Also to cherish every moment that you had in high school because you will not always have the same experiences ever again.

I have always been a good student and an athlete; but looking back, I wish that I had taken some courses in high school from our local community college; I didn't feel as prepared in English and Science once I got to college. I also was very gung ho about getting out from under my parents and "spreading my wings". I didn't realize how homesick I would be; my parents were good about coming to visit me, but I don't think I really thought through about moving out of the house. I think that in my case, I should have enrolled at our local community college and lived at home for at least the first year before moving out of the house. Other advice I would give to myself would be to always be patient and try to put yourself into the other person's shoes--being at an all girls college naturally made for some "drama" at times; but I learned how to get along with all sorts of people from different races, religions, cultures, and most importantly, I learned that to get respect, you have to give it.

College is everything you expected it to be, but you are not quite as prepared as you should be. Study hard, especially for the AP Stats test. Pack all the clothes you think you need and then only take half of them, because I have worn most of what I brought with me but dorm rooms are small and clothes take up a lot space. Most important remember to have fun senior goes by really fast, spend time with your friends, but don't forget about Mom and Dad - trust me you will miss them. The first couple weeks are probably going to be difficult so remember Skype is a life saver, text your parents - especially Dad, he can always make you laugh, go to the meetings at the beginning of year, go to a bunch of different club meetings, and be open and friendly. College is amazing and a ton of fun, and you will have to study, but don't worry if you study like Mom showed you will be fine. Good luck, take a deep breath and dive in, it only gets better as it goes.

In high school, students are extremely pressured to think about their future, and about what they are going to become. They're stuck answering questions like "What will I major in? Where will I go to school?"
The most valuable information any high school senior can have, and the information I would have given myself if I could, is the following: "Instead of getting caught up in wondering about what you will become, think of what you can be and who you are. CONSIDER YOUR PLACE IN THE WORLD, AND THE EFFECT YOU CAN HAVE ON THOSE AROUND YOU."
Education is a powerful tool, undoubtedly. But without an active, adventurous mind and understanding of the world around us, including those more of less fortunate than ourselves, we will continue to graze through our lives selfishly. Only after we have recognized that we are one person in a world consisting of many millions more, and that despite our triviality, we have the power to change the lives of those millions, can we live a full and happy life. Self-empowerment and an active lifestyle working towards good for mankind can bring assurance of a fulfilled, content life.

If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior, knowing what I know now, I would tell myself that college isn't as easy as high school was. Getting good grades in high school was a breeze for me. As long as you did the homework that was assigned, almost anyone could pass with flying colors. I have come to find that in college you have to do a lot more work outside the classroom. The professors don't spoon feed you the answers and information like teachers in high school did. Reading textbooks and working on extra problems outside of class is the key to success in college. Being in college really tests your ability to take care of yourself and your responsibilities as a student without your teachers or parents holding your hand.

I woud have taken College courses in high school, it would have been so much easier to take certain classes in high school than college. Plus I would have came into college with standing credits.
