My school is best known for it's small class sizes because it is a small, private college. This is an extreme advantage in the academic world because the teachers can focus more on the individual. D'youville feels like a family and everyone is extremely friendly. Having small classes is incredibly helpful because the professors are much easier to access. Also it is much easier to focus in a class with 20 students compared to 200 students. I learn much better this way and I know I would not be doing as successful if the classes were much larger.

D'Youville College is best known for its medical programs. Most students here are trying to be some kind of doctor or nurse in a chosen medical field. It is a very graduate oriented school with many degree opportunites.

Our private, coeducational college is known for its programs in leadership and service. They offer degrees at various levels and make it convienent for those that are off-campus commuters. The school is best known for it's healthcare programs and further more its opportunities above and beyond the general undergraduate degree. The small class size and the diverse campus allow for a great learning environment and the tools needed to succeed.

When giving tours of the school to prospective students, I emphasize the student to teacher ratio which is 14:1 and the one on one attention you will recieve from faculty and staff.
