My school is good with helping students find jobs while they are there and setting up internships allowing students to gain experience in there career field.

The proffesors are by far the smartest and nicest educators that I have had the pleasure of meeting.

Emory & Henry is a strong community. It has a way of pulling you in and making you feel at home.

The school is small but that is its advantage. The teachers actually know their students and can offer more personal help.

There's so much to do outdoors, especially hiking and rockclimbing. I always talk about the surrounding areas and the little towns that I've grown so close to.

Small classes

I brag about the fact that there is a very high percentage of post education jobs that the college helps graduates get.

When I tell my friends about Emory and Henry College, the thing that makes me the most proud to be a student at this college is the amount of freedom they give their students. They do have required courses the students must take, but they are very accepting to every kind of person. There are chemistry majors in acting courses and theater majors in advanced math courses. No matter what a person is majoring in, they are allowed to explore different majors and find what truly makes them happy.

The best thing about this school is the small size. The professors know everyone in the class by name and have more time for one-on-one time if a student needs extra help. Especially when a tough subject or topic arises, the professors have always made the time for me to make sure that I understand all the material. The size of the college also helped for me to get to know other students. Walking to and from class, I am always greeted by someone that I have had class with or have become close to.

I brag about the small class sizes, the individual attention, and the fact that I am best friends with some of my teachers (they will even invite you over to their house for dinner).
