Emory & Henry College Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about Emory & Henry College? Why?

roderick

Sometimes the cafeteria food can be alittle boring and at times its hard to be able to do your laundry because the washers are full or people leave their items in and forget to come back to take them out.

Lindley

Because Emory & Henry is such a small school, the resources and options are limited. For example, the library closes at midnight and there are only two food options on campus.

Elizabeth

The worst thing about Emory is that everyone seems to know everything about you and your life.

Dustin

The cost is a little high but the education you get is well worth the money you have to spend.

Alyssa

The worst thing about my school would probably be the weather for parts of the year. In the winter, it snows alot and we do not ever have school cancelled just delays. In the spring, it is very nice on some days but when it rains it tends to be cooler. I tend to be more partial to warrm weather that is always sunny.

Brittney

The worst thing is the expense. College isn't cheap by any means, but sometimes it just seems too much.

Sarah

Hardly any diversity-- E&H is mostly white. I think I've seen two Asian people.

Kayla

The only issue with our school is that there are not a lot of options for off campus activities. You must drive at least twenty to forty five minutes to find something to do. We have made different activities on campus for students who do not drive. If students like to eat fast food, you must drive to get that. There is nothing in walking distance of this campus.

Andrew

Emory and Henry College is a great college, but it has its problems. The lack of a student life and the lack of things to do can make students feel very bored.

Landon

The location is probably the worst part of the school. Seven miles from Abingdon seems like it is in the middle of nowhere. Also, as a Christian, sometimes the beliefs and values that I have are questioned or thrown out completely. Not that all colleges do not have this, but i feel that this is very influential in how I rate my experience here.
