Students, faculty and alumni all have so much pride in Florida A&M University! Not only is there so much school spirit, but the teachers want you to succeed. You're not just a number at FAMU. Most teachers know you by name and go out of their way to be there for you. I have learned so much about myself and my ethnicity and I would HIGHLY recommend attending! It's a wonderful experience !

The faculty there just nurtures promising students and encourages us to reach beyond the norm. I am forever grateful for that and I take great pride in knowing that I am alumni of such a wonderful institution.

When I brag to my friends, who unfortunately didn't become Rattlers. I tell them of the great people you have a chance to meet, the many opportunities that help you become a better student and preparedness for your career. You can experience an atmosphere where everyone is determined to do their best in everything across the board from academics to sports. Lastly, being able to say you are a Rattler is more than school pride, your blood literally runs Orange and Green!
