FIU is an excellent starter school or career-oriented institution if you are aiming for business or engineering. It prides itself in being a research university, but as an aspiring biologist, I strongly beg to differ. If you want a relatively easy degree while enjoying some fun in the sun with frat brothers, this is the place to be.

FIU is a wonderful school; it has a beautiful campus - well landscaped and decorated with art; robust selection of student life and activities - well advertised and in view to the students; the food selection is great with many healthy options available; for saftety, FIU has its own police force and nighttime security to escort/drive students to their cars after dark; I have found the faculty and my peers both helpful and good-natured; I reccomend FIU to any young adult because it is a great atmosphere and learning environment combined with a great location full of culture and fun!
