My school is best known for our academic achievements and our nationally ranked football team.

Florida State University is located in Tallahassee, Florida. It?s best known for being the home for the Florida State Seminoles. The university is best known for their outstanding academic programs such as education, art, law, business, load, medicine, music, and sciences. A number of these programs are very competitive and require limited access. They are also well known for their outstanding athletic program. They are a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference and hold several NCAA awards.

In our town, the college is known for easy access to educational possibilities close to home.

Florida State University is known for the Seminole legacy and traditions. These traditions include the daily walk to classes on the giant brick paved sidewalk appropriately named "Legacy Walk". Also, part of the Seminole traditions are study sessions in Strozier library or Saturday football games at Doak Campbell Stadium watching the 'Noles fight opponents on Bobby Bowden Field.

Our school is known for its professors, excellence of majors, and of course our sports teams.

Florida State University is best known for its football legacy. While we might not be as strong of a team as we once were, especially with the loss of our beloved coach, we have an amazing fanbase, stadium and spirit. Going to football games is a right of passage for new students and the environment both welcoming and exciting.
