The Florida State University is one of the most culturally, politically, and ideologically diverse universities in the nation. No one is judged by their appearance or views; he or she is judged by their character and how effectively he or she conveys those views to his or her pears. It is one of the most accepting environments I have ever had the opportunity to be apart of and participate in. This aspect allows for more freedom to develop ideas and essentially become better rounded as a student and as a part of society.

The best thing about Florida State is the teachers. They really make the school. Every professor I've had has displayed a genuine excitement to teach their students, and their passion for their respective fields really shows. Their enthusiasm is infectious. The student-teacher relationship in such a big school really surprised me. Even in a (rare) class of 300, I was able to become good friends with the professor. They are so accessable; nowhere else in Florida can you get this kind of one-on-one interaction with leading researchers and published scholars.

The advisory. I'm going to Italy in the fall. The entire school works with you to make sure everything is going right. Just make sure you take incentive to go see your counselors. I'm trying to pay for italy through scholarships and there is a department to help you do just that, and its not hard at all to just walk in and talk to someone regardless of what you need. Whenever i feel lost or overwhelmed with everything i'm taking on i know that there will be people to help me.

The best thing about Florida State is my major program. I am currently majoring in advertising and FSU provides the classes that I need to be sucessful in this field. I know that after graduation I will have all the tools I need to being working in the real world.

There are so many different ways to get involved on campus as well as many internships/jobs off campus because this is Florida's capital. There is also a lot of fun to be had at FSU between the sports games (GO NOLES!!) and activities on campus, there is definitely something for everyone.

School Spirit, Partying, Friends, Professor, Greek life

The best thing about my school are the professors. They seem to really care about their students even though the classes may be so big it's impossible to know each student in the class.

The people who attend and work here definitely want to see students/peers do what they want career wise, and there is a lot of support and resources and accomidations to help you do so. Particularly within the advising in departments they live to help you reach your highest ability and develop apptitudes.

The best thing is meeting new people because I have met a lot of new friends.

FSU's school spirit and the focus on academics makes it an amazing school to be it. There is someone there to help with any questions you have and its a lively campus that has activities for all types of interests and hobbies.

The best thing about my school is the fantastic tradition of excellence and such a rich history that is woven into the state of Florida that allows students to have an immense pride fo the school. It is something that every student has in common and it brings us all together and makes it very easy for students to get along, even if they have never met each other. It also creates ample possibilities for students to succeed because of the networking between alumni in bussinesses throughout the state and nation and students looking to advance in their career.

Although the classes can be tough, there resources available that support the students academically.

This school is very well connected in all aspects. When it comes to the career field there is more than enough opportunites to excel, people are strongly connected to our sports teas and loyal as alumni's, and there are so many different ways to connect through clubs and activites with other people that are similar or different than you are.

I am experience a diverse and rewarding college life.I really enjoy that many of the teachers here are TAs (teaching assistants) and grad students. Oftentimes there'll be a sort of cultural generation gap between students and older professors, but when many of them are younger than 30, it really helps to create the sort of platonic student-teacher relationship that is so often missing nowadays.

It promotes diversity while also providing multiple groups and organizations for students to find their own niche and make the overwhelming population of students seem smaller.

I feel the best thing about my school is all the resources and clubs that they have. They try very hard to make sure that you are on the ball and getting good grades. Everyone is nice and always willing to help you out! thats what I love most. Everyone i have seem to met has great personailty and are down to earth and caring. The campus life is just something that one has to experience!

The Academic programs that FSU leads in generally leads the other schools in Florida (at least) by a wide margin, from what I can tell. The Classic program for example is certainly second to none in the State, and is one of -if not THE- best in the entirety of the South East. There are alot of great creature comforts at FSU that make it a great school - but its the academics that brought me here, and are what is keeping me here.

Size, the campus is pretty small for so many students

Florida State is a wonderful school, great location and beatiful surroundings. Campus is georgeous. The buildings have history and the students and faculty are close knit and helpful. The best thing about Florida State is the camaraderie. Football games, great faculty, and staff.

The best thing about my school is the library (2 libraries: Strozier and Dirac) because not only does it have a multitude of books, but also free tutoring, smart rooms, and a sufficient amount of computers. It provides a great learning environment for those who need a relaxing, quiet study area and for those who prefer loud study groups designated by the areas, "quiet area" and "study group area". The library has all the tools I need to succeed in school and I spend a great deal of time there.
