A person who needs a big city life should not attend GSW because of the small town setting it resides in, if you need to constantly see new faces and not familiar ones GSW may not be your home.

The kind of person who I wouldn't recommend this college to would be someone who isn't willing to work hard nor challenge themselves to excel to the best of his/her ability.

If you love the big city life I would advise that you do not attend. If you are looking for large classes. If you are not open minded about going to a small school in a rural area.

A person who prefers the big city life shouldn't attend GSW. The town is about 17,000 people and not based around the college. There isn't a Starbucks or any other restruants or venues specifically tuned for the college students. There isn't a mall, the only place to shop is Walmart. The nearest city with decent shopping centers is Columbus, Ga which is an hour away. Also fraternities are very popular however there isn't many parties except for Thursday nights. The weekends are relatively empty as most student leave.

You should not attend this college if you are looking for an activr college career. The campus i so dead on weekends because Ameriucs itself is boring. Many people tend to transfer just because they hate student activities offered by this school. Academically it is a good school but as far as student life it is horrible. If you are from a big city dont come to this school expecting the same atmosphere. But if your only focused on academics it is a good choice.
