The worst thing(s) about my school is not being able to have a car as a freshman,the sucky parking when you are able to have a car,the cafeteria food,the lack of accessible transportation to things that surround the school,the strict dorm rules,the lack of Greek life due to overbearing administration,the foolish dress code (i.e,no wifebeaters,no clothing w/certain sayings on them such as "juicy" for juicy couture)

The administrative aspect of things on this campus are terrible. Whenever you need something you always get the run around. It so common that you can ask any student about the "Hampton run-around" and they will know exactly what I'm taking about. They are slow when it comes to sending out letters regarding financial aid and tuition as well.

The worst thing about my school would be the ventilation systems in the classrooms because it is hard to learn with no air conditioning or heating.

The worst thing about my school is on-campus housing. We have limited housing and the rooms are small. The bathrooms also can be better. Our President does not believe in changing the campus old fashion look. We live in building that was there since the begining of school.

There were a lot of cliques among the student body.

The way in whichstudents are given the run around when they are trying to handle their business.

The worst thing about Hampton University in my opinion, is either the faculty and staff or the facilities offered to the students on campus. From personal experience, very few staff actually want to help a student and always seem to send me in a "run around." Also, facilities are all old and in need of renovation or just not available. This school is definitely NOT WORTH the money.

The worst thing about the school is the financial aid. They do not help you as much as they could. They just give you the run around.

The worst thing I consider about Hampton is that it can be too strick. I belive this can take away the freedom that most students experience when they attend college, which can deter students from taking initative, being creative and themselves.

Administration can be very conservative and unyielding

The worst thing about my school is the availabitliy of access to the computer room 24/7. The library is open 24 hours however, access to the computer is not. I spend a lot of time in the library and would like to be able to go on line whenever needed. Otherwise , I have no compliants.

The worst thing about my school would have to be its price. Hampton is almost $26,000 a year for on-campus living.

I believe that the worse thing about my university is the unorginization of the registar's office. Many students are left running around to get certain thins taking care of, which should be a lot easier. Also the living conditions on campus are horrible. Many of the dorms here are worn down and small, and many even with no central air conditioning.

The financial aid and student accounts staff give you the run around and never really help you, and they are very rude.

The facilities of the buildings could be way better. I feel that we are giving up so much money, but we really don't see the benefits as often as we could. The food in the cafe is nasty also. Another big thing is the way the students are treated at the business office and sometimes finanical aid. I feel that they have attitudes where it is not needed.

The worst thing about Hampton University is that tution is very high; however, most dorms do not have air conditioning and the dorms should be remodeled. Also, the financial aid and business office often times do not answer the phone and stipend checks are cut very late.
