The only thing I wish I had known about coming to this school was how the classes are taught. Because we work in trimesters, the classes are very fast paced, where beforehand I did classes in semesters, where they were slightly slower. However at this time I have now adjusted to the pace of the courses.
Amadi
How truly beautiful the school and surrounding area looked.

That the feild hockey team wasent a team and was a varisity club and that if you have any culinary experience labs will bore you to death and you will learn nothing.

The only thing I wish I could change before coming to Johnson & Wales was to have more experience with jobs relating to my major.
Matthew
I wish I had known the quality of the different dorms available to me. Although I ended up with a good dorm, several of my friends were stuck in very bad dorms away from the main campus.
Steven
That there were more services and extra help out there that I did not now about. I would have also liked to now about the study abroad programs earlier that way I could have planned to study abroad next year but I do not think that will work out now.
Lillian
I wish I had known how expensive it is to live in Providence.
Darius
Currently there is nothing i wished i'd known before i came to Johnson & Wales University.
Nicholas
My only regret is that i didn't discover what i wanted to do with my life untill after i pursued a degree in another field, wasting time and my hard earned money.
Carla
Before I came to this school I had known everything I needed to know and theres not one thing that I didn't like about it. Johnson and Wales University was the perfect fit for me.
Rachel
I wish I had known, that the dorms weren't going to be like the ones we see on tv. I also wish I had known that they can put up to four people in one room.
Erica
I wish I had known how many different types of people I was going to meet before coming to college. I could handle the classes, and the professors, but I spent the majority of my first few months at school not meeting people because they were a little different from me. The kids most unlike me are now my best friends.

that laziness isn't tolerated here and if you fail to come up to standard you are destined to fail.

the only thing i wish i had known before attend JWU would of been was time amangement. the reason being is it plays a huge roll in college because there is so much free time after your classes or over for the day. But you would just thing its time to hange out but its not its really designed so you havetime to get your assigments completed adn study time. i really had to adjust to the changes probably like the first few weeks into trimester, but i have learned how to balance it.
Bridgette
I wish I learned how to save my money!
Devin
How much of a step up college is from highschool workload wise and that i will need to be a little more focused
Melany
I wish i knew i wanted to come to JWU right after high school and not have wasted 3 years thinking about it. I could of been finished with school by now but im just getting started. JWU is the only school i want to go to and i love it.
Laura
I participated in the career explorations program over the summer before applying which provided everything i needed to know about the college and I even got to stay in the dorms for 2 nights so I knew the majority of what I needed to before orientation.
