Kennesaw State University Top Questions

Before coming to this school, I wish I had known more about financial aid and scholarships that were available to me. I wish I had known about all the opportunities there were besides taking out student loans. I feel that there was not enough emphasis put on other sources of financial aid so that I would not have to go into debt.

Time Management is a huge thing I struggle with and wish I had aquired that skill before college. But I am now learning that by balancing school and work.

I wish I had known that , if you take early morning classes, you should make sure you have good sleeping habits. Staying up late - even to complete homework - makes you feel tired all day. Schedule your day better so that you can get the important things done and get to sleep at a decent time.

I wish I would have taken more math in high school, so when I took trigonometry it would have been easier. I worked so hard to get a 75 in that class. I went to the math lab multiple times each week, and one of the guys there helped me outside of the mathlab. I have never been more proud of a C.

There is nothing that I could have known before coming to Kennesaw that would change my situation.

I wish I would have known that Kennesaw State University has the best Criminal Justice program in the country!

I wish i would have known more about job apportunities. I also wish i would have known about opportunities to try out for a varsity team.

I wish I had known that the best way to meet others is through sports (club ect), sororities ect. and that new friendships take a lot of work. I wish I had known how to cook better also!

I wish I had known the best way to study because it was 'trial-and-error' for the first couple of terms. Now, I practice several different techniques which include audio, visual, and tactile. Each student must find the best way for them in order to get the most impact out of their classes.
