LeTourneau University is unique in that it is filled with professors that are interested in their students. The professors go out of their way to get to know who they are teaching. I have had professors invite me to diner or they host a small get together for their students.

We have people from all around the world studying at LeTourneau. Everyone around there wants to help you succeed in whatever course of study. It is a christian school and have the freedom to grow spiritually. They have a strong teaching education program that will get me ready in the future to be a great teacher.

LeTourneau University offers a great aviation program. The professors are all very nice and willing to help - it's even required that you meet with them one-on-one in a conference once a semester. The classes are very professional and you learn a ton.

It is a very Chrsitian environment, so much so that it seems forced upon students many times. They are very strict with their policies and rules. For example, they disallow social dancing. The school is great for academics and post school job placements but overall their is no school spirit and students have a negative view of administration. The school security is a joke here and the IT department tends to be over-restricitive of the internet connection.

The floor unity and the community is very different here. We don't have freshman, sophmore, and upperclassman dorms. Once you get into a dorm, you may stay there for all four years. This allows people to build lasting friendships. Students here can be apart of something without joining a club or society. Each floor has its own personality.

It is a much smaller school than the schools that I considered and it is a Christian University.

The most unique thing is that the instructors seem to really care about how you are doing. They have all seemed willing to hep when I have a problem.

The dorm is pretty decent, we have a shared bathroom within two room instead of community bathroom. Due to the size of the school, most of the students know each other, and the sizes of the classes are pretty small, ranging from about 10 to 30 students per class, which allows the professors to know each and every students in his/her classes.
