Liberty has a curfew. We have many other rules, like no alcohol or smoking, no sexual activity, etc... It's all to keep our minds and hearts pure. Liberty University meets 3 times a week as an entire student body (12,000 students on campus) to listen to many prestigious speakers and artists. It's the world's largest Christian university, and it truly lives up to what it claims. God is the center of the school, no doubt!

Liberty University is a training ground for young Christians to grow in their faith and us their educations to benefit the world for Christ. Perhaps the greatest thing about Liberty is the community that is instilled within us. All students attend convocation three times a week connecting us to each other through praise and worship. Every student is treated with uniquely valued and prayed for by name.

If you are a transfer you will struggle. The students can be exclusive and it can be hard to join a group but overall Liberty is really a great school!

I attend the online university at this school. This allows me to stay at home to do all my course work, which means I get to spend more time with my friends and family.

The faculty and staff at Liberty University, specifically those within the Department of Education, are the most nurturing, student-focused, diligent, and involved faculty than that of any other University. The faculty in which I interact provides a more than ordinary learning environment but rather an environment in which to achieve success and become a well-rounded individual. Whether providing words of encouragement, an outlet to vent, support during difficult circumstances, or attendance at an extra-curricular activity, the faculty at Liberty University have literally changed my life and have helped mold me into the woman I have become.

The people at Liberty are so welcoming and you feel at home the minute you step on campus. The academics are very important but there is a great social atmosphere, you will never be bored at Liberty.

They stand by the morals and principles of truth and integrity. I believe that this challenges students to be better individuals and to work harder on their education.

Liberty has the best faculty I've ever seen. They will go to amazing lengths to help out students while at the same time, not giving them free points that they do not deserve (because the purpose of college is to prepare you for the real world, not just take your money and give you a grade). It is strongly Christian and our lives on campus revolve around Christ first, then the city around us, not alcohol. Most people on campus TRULY care about you and who you are.

There teachers here are 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} in love with Christ adn they are very helpful and they care about you as the student. I have a teacher that flat out says "I love you" to his class and it's awesome. The Chancellor is flat out amazing.

My school is unique in that it is completely online and I have never stepped foot on campus. It has wonderful Christian values

The atmosphere is Christian but not worldly Christian. The staff and students are the definition of what Christ would like us to be.

It is a Christian school in the top 10 rank for education and is price/cost friendly and they offered a degree that utilized my other degree and college credits that really helped me get my Bachelor's degree quickly.

Something unique is that we pray before every class starts.

One unique thing about my school is that Liberty has a fast growing worship department where you are taught how to be a worship leader and how to be on a worship team and LU has over 6 different traveling worship teams with an amazing professional sound and everyone loves them.

I think the most unique thing about the school is the degree to which the faculty and staff care for the students. The professors care deeply about the students and are interested in their lives more than just the educational aspects. The administration also very often provides new ideas for the school to give the students a unique college experience unlike those of the traditional universities with things such as a year-round ski slope.

Liberty University has one of the best on-line formats in the world. A student taking classes in a distance format can be assured that they are receiving the same quality of education as a student sitting in the classroom. I chose LU because of their flexibility. I can take semesters worth of classes in an 8 week format and complete the required work in my own time. If I need to view a lecture at midnight, to accommodate my schedule, it is not a problem. An added bonus is that Liberty gives its military students a $400 book voucher.
