Liberty University is a school, dedicated to the values of Christianity. Everything that you are taught is from a Christian perspective and it is the goal of the Professors to see you grow and mature in Christ. While providing you with a quality education, you're spiritual walk means just as much as your academics.

Liberty allows you to get a very good education while serving, worshiping, and discovering God. It has one of the best nursing programs in the state and is very competative. There are many things to do at Liberty, including Snowflex , a full- size artificial ski slope, an ice skating rink, a huge gym, and over 7 different places to eat. Liberty currently educates about 12000 students. Shenandoah University, the school I almost went to, teaches only about 4000 students. Its nursing program is very unstable and there is almost nothing to do there.

Two of the most unique attributes to Liberty is it's founded on Biblical principles and the Online, Distance Learning Program. I compared other schools and actually have attended others but this school offers the exact program of study that is unique to my career as well as ministry goals beyond school.

Everyone and everything is very uplifting and supportive. It is an amazing experience to be surrounded by so many Christians whose love is evident in the way they live and act. The professors actually take the time to get to know their students and care about each one.

Compared to the other private Christian schools I looked at, Liberty University is much bigger. There are higher ranking sports, academic programs, and more opportunities in general. It is a very well balanced school - there is importance placed on academics, sports, social acitivites, and spiritual growth. It is unique because it very, very balanced even though it is quite a large school compared to the other schools I looked at.

The biggest difference from other colleges, that I found when first visiting the campus, is the obvious community between the students. There is a care emminating from Liberty students that does not show up almost anywhere else. It is because the students who attend Liberty University are genuinely kind and truly love being involved with such a remarkable university.

Liberty holds some of the most friendly people in the U.S. It is not difficult to make friends here at all, and there is always something going on. Other campuses may be more academically competitive, or focused on getting into a fraternity or sororiety, but at Liberty, students care more about being there for their friends, making sure they are doing what God wants them to do with their life, and having a good time without doing things they will regret like alcohol, drugs, and sex. We focus on school, but there is more to life than an A.

The reason I chose Liberty University is that this university has an online program that offers the major I desire. In addition, Liberty University has an excellent reputation for providing an excellent education. As a young, single, mother, I needed a college that accomodate my need to care for my infant son while still receiving a degree in criminal justice.

I did not consider any other schools. Liberty University was the only school I wanted to go to.

My school is one of the largest Conservative Christian Schools in America. Open to all who are interested, offers scholarships to help those in need, and offers a variety of clubs and NCAA sports.

At Liberty University you will find a Christian environment. Many people look at Liberty as a school where you will not have any fun, but the truth is Liberty is one of the most fun school's in Virginia! Speaking of fun, college is much more than "having fun". It is much more than the parties that everyone crave to seek when choosing a college. At Liberty University, we party as a school for Jesus. We meet everyone Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings and have Convocation. Also, in each class the professor prays for you and your classmates.

I selected Liberty University because it is ranked among top three for online courses and becasuse of it's beleive in religion. It keeps you inform daily events and the professors are one of a kind. I have been away from school for over 20 years and wnated to get my degree. I am having so much fun going back to school and working. Just need some help on paying school to keep my dream come true.

Teachers and students really care and try to help each other.

What is unique is that I attend college online where if I find a job that does not work with my schooling I can still get my degree , then login in after work to forfill what is needed for my studies without infering with my job, kids, or volunteer work. So right now online college is right fore me.

Liberty University was the only Christian University I applied to. Many students are not comfortable attending a school that has rules. I find that, although sometimes they are annoying, the rules at this school help to provide a safe, clean and comfortable environment that wouldn't be possible otherwise. Maintaning this atmosphere of peace, beauty and love is most certainly worth a few rules.

Firstly, most important to an incoming student , is their financial aid package. They are VERY generous, and the financial aid office helps you find every possible scholarship that you could qualify for to help lower the cost. Second, there is a sense of spirit here that I have not seen at any other college. Everyone is excited to be here and we show it by supporting every aspect of our school- the sports teams, drama performances, and various other clubs. I have never seen such a commitment to success or such a large school working as a team, in unity.

Liberty University is a Christian college. At LU I get the oppurtunity to earn my degree while building my faith. For anyone who is interested in being a Christian enviroment while getting their degree LU is one of the best place they could consider. I also highly recomend LU for those who would like to find out more about the Christian faith and what it is all about. At LU they will have the chance to learn about it and explore it for themselves while getting quality education.

It is a Christian school I love it! we are allowed to voice our views about issues and still get along with each other. The girls are FINE! Dry campus means you can have fun without drinking.

Liberty University is unique in that it has its own ski slope, is the largest evangelical university, good athletics, extemely friendly student body and faculty, and it is close to the beach and Washington D.C.
