My school was unique in by it's well developed methods for practical application within the business school. I had the chance to work with real businesses on live issues while consulting for them. It was an amazing experience.

Miami University has one of the best educational programs, in my opinion, for a publin school in the country.

Miami is AMAZING! I have had the best experience of my LIFE here so far! I have made the best of friends and I have learned so much about myself. It's a time of expression and maturity! Miami is an amazing place to discover yourself.

Every other school I considered is either a very small private school, or an extremely large public school, while my school is a medium-sized school.

Miami's traditions were apparent to me from the first time I stepped foot on campus and the excellence of their business program stood out amongst the others. Traditions such as avoiding the school's seal located in the central quad in order to avoid bad luck on one's next exam combined with the beautiful foliage that surrounds all of the red brick buildings around campus helped me to decide that Miami University was the place for me. Excellence isn't a destination, it's a journey, and Miami makes that journey possible.

Most of the student are "bro's" and spoiled girls who try to hard for attention. The guido population is beginning to grow but it is still on the low side.
Andrew
Although Miami is not diverse at all, very preppy, and the social life pretty much revolves around drinking (well, and hockey), it is still a pretty good school academically, there's a lot to do, and the people are still accepting if you don't fit the stereotype. I love it here and completely recommend it.
Jillian
The school is very focused on the undergraduate. Therefore, instead of only caring about for example research, professors take the time to know students by name. The classes are taught by some of the most talented professors who are very accessable, kind, and easy to get to know. The school itself is beautiful and tons of resources are within walking distance. It's up to the student to take advantage of this though.

It was unique because the campus was located in a town called Oxford. This help bring about an special togetherness between university and community that I will never forget. While playing basketball at Miami University, I was able to meet people both from the community and inside on campus poeple. This made for a very rich experience that I think some other campuses might miss out on. Also, the education that a person can recieve from Miami University is tremendous in its potential to jumpstart a person into the world. Miami's academics and environment are its best qualities.

I think that what makes Miami unique is the quality of the professors. I know that many of the professors are there because they love to work with and interact with the students. They take a big interest in their students lives and do what they can to help them succeed. They also take an interest in helping them find a job/career after school.

Miami is removed from the hustle and bustle of a urban center, but is 45 minutes and an hour away from two metropolitan areas. Miami has many distinguished professors and alumni that are willing to help. I have gotten to work with some of the leading researchers in Exercise Science, such as my academic advisor, who is a Fellow of the ACSM. There is also a unique bond with the Cincinnati Children's Health Medical Center, where I perform some of my research. Miami has also given me the opportunity to explore other areas of interest such as Engineering Physics.

Miami University of Ohio has a rigorous undergraduate pre-medical program, where almost all students who graduated with this program went on to Medical School. I wanted statistics like that. Besides a beautiful campus with a big social and Greek life, Miami has key professors - a nice balance between the fun part about college and the serious part.

I agree with everyone's opinion that the campus is beautiful. The buildings are brick and situated among mature trees. Even newer buildings fit right in. There is never a season that isn't picturesque.
Additionally, it is just the right size. It is not so big that I can't find someone I know but yet it's not so small that everyone is in my business.
Casey
It feels like home. You actually can tell wahts campus and whats not. All the buildings are in georgian style and none of the buildings on or offcampus excede 3 stories. The professors become your family; they know about you, they interact with you, and they care how you are doing academicly.
Rachael
Miami is in a small town that is probably would not survive without the college there. Everyone there seems to be very focused to become the best they can be and it makes me work hard to stay on track with everyone else. I feel at home at Miami and I everyone seems to be very freindly and willing to help you if you need it. The professors know what they are talking about and like to give up to date information that they hear through articles.
courtney
beautiful campus, great student body
Audrey
Absolutely nothing. It is extremely prototypical.
Katie
The campus was the most beautiful, the people most friendly and the classes most engaging. The overall community aspect was exceptional at Miami, and I knew adjusting to a responsible college career here would be easy.

Miami has the "Oxford Bubble". The lifestyle here is different, the people, even houses are different. There is crime but no where near normal city rates, this is very much a college town. The staff and faculty really want to help and the people they are hire are one of a kind. The staff has a very "Miami" feel; they are kind, up-beat, assertive and problem solvers. They treat you like a person and not just a face. The campus is breath-taking, there is so much greenery and it looks so clean and crisp with the red brick.

Miami has an excellent size campus and education. The location above all has allowed me to develop as a student and young adult.
