There is a stereotype of the "typical Miami girl" and it's generally true. The girls wear their Ugg boots, designer clothes, and Northface jackets and act stuck up and snobby for no apparent reason. It's generally certain sorority girls. They also act completely flighty and stupid- read some quotes on Overheard at Miami.

its very homoegenous, upper class and not welcoming to different ideas. the girls are pretty shallow, material focused on the highest brand name things (names id never even heard of before i came here). if your not wearning chanel glasses and coach shoes and a lacoste polo ur not hot. guys know there are lots of hot girl here, so theyre not likely to date or want a relationship. its a very hook-up based campus.

the most frusterating thing about this school is the lack of diversity and narrow mindedness of the student body. there is way too much homogeneity.

The fucking parking tickets! Oh how I hate the Miami parking fines. They are $65 if you miss the meter by 5 minutes, misread a sign, or are a busy college student with places to be and meetings to go to, and happen to miss the posted sign/time by 15 minutes. Miami parking cops suck, in short.

There's a lot of emphasis on physical appearance and it's annoying to feel that you have to dress up to go to class. People can be really judgmental here.

The most frustrating thing about my school is that it is known as J. Crew U. because most of the students who attend the school come from wealthy families, and some people try to perpretuate the it even more and it lacks diversity there aren't that many African American students or any other minority groups.
