Balance is key. Do the work they assign while worshiping the Lord.

The most popular are WISE, Cheerleading, Football, and Basketball. Cheerleading is year round b/c we cheer for football and basketball. We practice 3 times a week and workout twice a week. No students don't leave their dorm rooms open.Athletic events are sooooo popular. The others are not so much. Dating seen is good I guess. I met them through classes taken together and Wise. I would be studying at 2am and thats it. People party all the time. Fraternities/sororities are really important. Last weekend I studied and visted my g-ma ans hung out w/ my boyfriend. On a Sat. night you can go to the movies, shopping, out to eat, nonalcoholic parties. I go home when off campus.

I work for the Union Activities Board at NC State. This is the main programming group on campus. We have many different committies from Leisure and Entertainment, Issues and Ideas, Black Students Board, Diversity, Films, International Activities Council and Publicy, that work towards having fun and educational events on campus for students to enjoy. We bring a wide range of events from Concerts, comedians, speakers, international shows, movies and other activities. It has been a great way to get involved with the campus and reach out to students.

Fraternity and Sorority's are pretty big on campus. Its hard to say which because there are so many. Being involved with Mu Beta Psi I tend to deal mainly with the Music Department. We do the set ups and strikes at most of the concerts that are held on campus. It depends on what dorm your in as to who leaves their doors open. Athletic events are poplular, if we're doing well. I'm pretty sure the guest speakers are popular and so are the theatre productions.
Um..the dating scene...you have to get out and meet people. I met my boyfriend in my first (ever) college class, and we've been dating ever since.
If I were awake at 2am on a Tueday, then I'm most likely cramming for a test.

The most popular groups on campus are Greek Life, Honor Societies, Student Government, and religious organizations. For instance I run one of the largest honor societies on campus--we do charity work for the community. Most students in the dorms leave their doors open so that they and their neighbors may interact. Athletic events are immensely popular, while guest speakers have a smaller crowd. While theatre is certainly not unheard of here, it isn't very popular amongst students. I met my closest friends in the classes I was in. If I am awake at 2 a.m. on a Tuesday, I am most likely doing homework and/or goofing off with my suitemates. The biggest traditions here are probably Campout for tickets to the UNC game each year (as they are our greatest rivals), along with the Homecoming celebrations. The frequency of parties depends on where you are at on campus, and varies greatly. Fraternities and sororities aren't that important here. Most people here don't really drink on their saturday nights, so your possibilities are endless. Off campus, I eat.

I don't there is a most popular group or organization. It mainly depends on you and what you are interested in. I am in a social sorority (Chi Omega) in whcih we mainly interact only with fraternities. I am in an academic fraternity that revolves around community service. I dont think so. Football and basketball are the most popular events on campus. Most people are already attached. Through my organizations. talking to my roommate. Homecoming competition, Greek Week, Derby Days. Pretty much every day of the week. Not too important if you arne't part of a greek organization. Nothing. See a movie. Shop, eat, see movies.

i am involved with a sorority here on campus. it is something that i joined when i was a sophomore as a freshman. i think at ncsu greek life has been stigmatized into something that is horrible but in reality those that are involved with greek life have given more back to the community than your average college student. as for the dorms, i haven't lived in a dorm since my freshman year and even then i didn't live in your typical dorm. we did not leave our doors open because i lived at avent ferry so if our door was open, it was open to the outside and a complete stranger from the street could walk into our room unannounced. i feel that athletic events are extremely popular at ncsu, especially when the teams are doing well. i've met my closest friends through living in the dorm my freshman year as well as through my sorority. one of my closest friends is still my roommate from freshman year who did not join a sorority and we are still just as close as we were freshman year.

There are a lot of sports teams and not a huge amount, but an ok sized greek life. I'm involved in a sorority. Students leave their doors open all the time. Athletic events like football and basketball are really popular, but others are attended as well. I met my closest friends in my dorm and through my sorority. Probably studying or hooked on some random tv show. There are different traditions around sporting events like the ram roast and homecoming. People's partying habits very, some every night, some just weekends, and some never or rarely. Greek life isn't that important around campus compared to its prevalence on some campuses. Went home. There's plenty of stuff to do around campus, there's movies, dinner, downtown, etc. Downtown is really fun.
