North Georgia College & State University Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about North Georgia College & State University? Why?

brandi

The Dinning Hall. It closes early. It closes when some people are just getting out of class. Students are not allowed to take food out.

Matthew

My school has a long list of offered majors, but for some their major may not be on that list. It is a great place for core classes that everyone must take and even for many degrees, but the worst thing about my school is that if you are not planning on receiving one of the offered programs of study here then you must transfer to another school that does offer your major. Your perspective major is essential information when deciding a college.

Kristen

The worst things about my school are its policy on living situations for the first year as well as the high priced meals. The first year of college you don't have the option to live off campus unless you live with your parents. The meals are a bit pricey too especially for the quality.

Bradley

Expensive, although the tuition is regulated by the state probably. I love this school and little wrong.

Erin

The food could be better.

Victoria

The worst thing about my school is that there is very little cultural diversity, and those with different views have trouble fitting in; we go by the "don't ask, don't tell" policy of the military.

Helen

The only thing I do not like about this school is the parking situation. There is just not enough.

Krista

The worst aspect of my school is the parking situation. Even with the new parking deck, there is still not enough parking. Resident students are not allowed to park next to campus buildings during the day, not even the Chow Hall/cafeteria. The campus police give out parking tickets all the time for improperly parked vehicles, even if the vehicle is only parked for ten minutes so the driver can get food from Chow. The school eliminated the 30 minute parking spaces next to Chow and other buildings, so more parking tickets are given out.

Jonathan

I think the worst part about my school is having to wake up in the mornings for room inspections and physical training. North Ga. is a military college, and after a long night of studying/playing the mornings come real early.

Aaron

Wasting my time. Because I will never get that time back and I can always find a way to be productive during that time I lost.
