OSU is best known for the amazing community it provides. It is very easy to get involved on campus and to gain an intense pride in the school. Stillwater as a town is very involved and centered aroung the university which creates an ideal environment.

Oklahoma State Univeristy is best known for its agriculture school, its atheletics (namely football), and the size of its student union.

OSU is best known for it's friendliness. While applying to many different colleges, I was astounded by the fact that OSU actually walked me through the application process and helped me figure out my FAFSA. As the first family member attending college, OSU was the perfect college to help me navgiate through it all.

We have a great agricultural program at OSU. It is a land-grant university so agriculture is a big part of who we are.

The wrestling tradition at Oklahoma State University is legendary. But what had brought me here was the aerospace and mechanical engineering program which is one of the best in the entire United States.

OSU is a great school for many things. We have a growing football program that is becomming one of the best in the country, a cross country team that has won 4 national championships in a row, and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. We are one of the first schools to begin studying un-manned arecraft systems. We exhibit the benchmark for excellence in agricultural studies, and have excellent engineering and business programs. Wheather you are looking for an exciting college experience, fun social groups, or an excellent degree program, you will not strike out at Oklahoma State University.

Oklahoma State University is probably best known around the USA for their sports, mainly football. We are a big 12 school so our sports programs are known all over the country.

The agricultural department is a big part of the campus at Stillwater, seeming how that's the only OSU campus that really offers a degree in that particular major. Before I applied I heard great things about the animal science and the veterinary medicine programs. Since there are few places to obtain a degree in veterinary medicine, it is a good idea to research the other programs at the school to see if you would like to complete your bachelor's degree there as well, rather than transferring, and OSU-Stillwater is a great place to do that.

This school is best known for having a great college of Engineering, Architecture and Technology. It's filled with great on campus activities and known for having the state's greatest homecoming event for football games.

My favorite tradition is Red Shirt Orange Friday. While many college participate in this day, there is only one who can say they started it. Yep, you guessed it! Oklahoma State started RSOF many years ago as a way to show the pride we have in our country. It is a way to honor the heroes who have kept and are keeping our nation free!

At the moment, we're probably known for winning the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. Next would be our mascot, Pistol Pete. We're also pretty well known for our Bedlam games with the University of Oklahoma. And then there's the Engineering program. Although I'm not an engineer, I know several people who are going into the field (the Honors dorm is full of them!), and many I've talked to have chosen Oklahoma State University specifically because of its great engineering program.

OSU is best know for the Cowboy football and basketball. OSU is classified by the Carnegie Foundation as a "High Research Activity campus. The reason it is best known to me is for the Spears School of Business – The Spears School is divided into seven departments: School of Accounting, Department of Economics & Legal Studies in Business, School of Entrepreneurship & Emerging Enterprises, Department of Finance, Department of Management, Department of Management Science and Information Systems, Department of Marketing.

Oklahoma State University is probably best known for our wrestling program as we have an Olympic Gold Medalist as the wrestling coach; however, our other sporting teams are also exceptional.

My school is best known for our beautiful campus and the Agriculture college. Our school prides itself in being absolutely beautiful. The reason we are also prided in agriculture studies is because we were origionally founded as Oklahoma A&M. So by priding ourselves in agriculture we maintain our campus.

Oklahoma State University is famous as an outstanding research university. It is consistently ranked as a "best value" for a college education. It has an outstanding athletic program with almost 50 national championship titles. To the students who go there, it is famous for being friendly.

I am finishing up my MBA at Southern Methodist University. The graduate program is best known for its elite business school. The professors are first class and bring an abundance of academic and industry specific experience to the classroom and genuinely enjoy instructing their respective discipline to their classes. The professors make themselves readily available and demand excellence out of each and every one of the students. Many of the top regional and national firms recruit recent graduates as well as alumni from SMU.
