Pima Community College Top Questions

What's the most frustrating thing about Pima Community College?

Laura

The most frustrating thing about this school is that some of the staff isn’t very helpful, sometimes rude, and it seems like they just come here to work and not help students.

Nicole

The only frustrating thing that I have dealt with would be dealing with teachers that do not care, and only care about the money they are getting. They do not deserve the money if they do not try to help students out to success. Also the prices have gone up, and it frustrates me to buy books and keep up with my life. Education is suppose to help you, not make you suffer just because of money. I think they should lower prices on books, and other school related things.

Sara

The most frustrating thing at my school is the class scheduling. Although day, evening and night classes are available all the class start either at the same time or within the same time frame. Having to deal with the class times makes it harder for students to both work and go to school, since some places of employment are not flexible with their scheduling.

I would have to say that the only frustrating aspect about the schools I've been to so far are the fact that they didn't really feel like the full college experience to me. My schools were on small campuses with small classrooms which is what some people like, but for me I would like to feel like I am part of something bigger. In order for me to get the full effect of attending college I think it would be best to have a lot of diversity and a more formal environment, which is expected of real Universities.

I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT PIMA.

Hector

The most frustrating thing about my school is the long wait times of the student services departments. One can expect to be in long lines when using the student services departments. These departments include the advising office, the financial aid office, and the bursar?s office. It always feels like these departments are under-staffed.

There really is not much that is frustrating about the Pima campus that I attend. The only thing that I have found to be frustrating so far is that sometimes advisors will give you different advice on what classes would be best to take but I suppose that anywhere you go people will give different advice to students.
