The social life consists of too much drinking , not enough variety of things to do on the weekends, too much work

There was far too much emphasis on sports. If you were an athlete you could sail through classes. if you weren't, you weren't anybody.

No complaints. Would do every moment all over again, if possible.

There is not much in the way of entertainment around campus, so much socialization comes in the bars.

some of the dorms are kind of old so if you are a freshman you might get stuck in one without A/C.

That sometimes in big lectures it is hard to get closer to your teacher. But if you are shy and not outgoing it could be a hard first year for you

I can honestly say that the worse thing about purdue university is that the tuition is continually increasing each year, but from what I understand, that is happening all over the country at other universities.

The weather :( It gets super hot, crazy cold, and it rains and snows. But, its Indiana weather-- what else can you expect?

It should be more green and attractive.

I think the worst thing about Purdue would be lack of diversity on campus. There is not a high representation of ethnic groups on campus, nor is there a high demand for respect of these groups

Geographically isolated...The school is too focused on its Engineering and Management departments.

Sometimes you practically have to run to class if you have one class at one end of campus and the next that starts in 10 minutes on the opposite side.

Groups of professors that look down on certain students because of apperance or attitude.

when the river makes the campus smell. some buildings need to be remodeled some equipment needs to be replaced

The worst thing is probably the class sizes. The classes I've come across so far are mostly intro lectures so there are a lot of people in them.

Location. Academically, the school is great, but West Lafayette isn't the most fun place in the world, you just have to try to make it so.
