If I had to choose the worst aspect of Purdue University it would have to be the dorms. College dorms are never the best but the dorms at Purdue are bad. I hate community bathrooms which most of the dorms use. The rooms are always around 85-90 degrees. Even in the winter that is too warm, I have to open the window just to keep the room at a pleasant temperature. Everything was built between the 1950's-1970's and a fresh coat of paint does not cover up everything.

The worst thing about this school is that they push you so hard that a lot of kids crack. It is just so hard to get to where you want to go that sometimes that it feels like it isn't worth it to even be there.

The worst thing about my school is the distance from campus (but, hey, losing the freshman 15 is easier) and the occasional feeeling that you are lonely though surrounded by people. This is easily overcome by getting involved in the numerous activites available. Because I do not own a car, sometimes I feel isolated on campus and do not always have a convienent way to get to the store. I tend to rely on friends to "get out" for a while. While Purdue is pretty big, it feels like a small town in just days.

There are too many people here who are not prepared to take the hard classes and therefore to not like the university. They complain and get things changed which makes it harder for students who came prepared.

I think that the weather is the worst thing about my school. I am not a fan of cold weather or rain and it always seem to be cold and rainy.

I think the worst thing is that if you do not participate in the drinking scene (like me) there are not many alternatives. I ususally find something to do but it usually consitst of watching movies in my room or playing putt-putt golf that is kinda far away.

The worst thing about my school is ther focus on Engineering. A lot of studets who don't want to go into Engineering think that Pudue is out of the question bease it's only for Engineering students. Purdue needs to focus on other areas of study also.
