My school is building a new student community center despite the three others that exist, tuition increases and excess activities that I don't need are thrown in my face; I came here to get an education and all they want me to do is relax, but how is that possible when I can't pay my bills with the pathetic financial aid I am recieving.

San Diego State University is a great school, in both academics and social aspects. It embraces the "So Cal beach lifestyle" and has an eclectic and diverse group of students. The campus is beautiful, as well as large, and the classes are at times too big.

Gorgeous campus wirh plenty of opportunities for students who are looking to get involved (clubs, on campus jobs or greek life).

San Diego State University is rather ethnically diverse, but is extremely Sorority/Fraternity centered. Joining is really the only way to feel included on campus. Even student organizations such as Associated Students is dominated by the Greek System. Not to mention on the weekends the campus is extermely dead so it is the only means of activities. Drinking and drugs are done heavily.

As a student at San Diego State University, I feel the school as a whole is a great place to experience college because of the different groups of people you can meet here and many activities you can participate in.

I don't agree with it being a party school. I do think that there are a lot of opportunities for the students to get involved in at least one type of activity. The school provides these opportunities so that they students can enjoy their time at San Diego State instead of just working.
