San Diego State University Top Questions

My school is building a new student community center despite the three others that exist, tuition increases and excess activities that I don't need are thrown in my face; I came here to get an education and all they want me to do is relax, but how is that possible when I can't pay my bills with the pathetic financial aid I am recieving.

San Diego State University is a great school, in both academics and social aspects. It embraces the "So Cal beach lifestyle" and has an eclectic and diverse group of students. The campus is beautiful, as well as large, and the classes are at times too big.

Gorgeous campus wirh plenty of opportunities for students who are looking to get involved (clubs, on campus jobs or greek life).

San Diego State is a beautiful campus with many opportunities and all different types of people, you can find any type of crowd you want from study groups, partying, or meeting people with common interest, and what else is great is the location of San Diego State which offers classes such as surfing, wakeboarding and sailing!

San Diego State University is rather ethnically diverse, but is extremely Sorority/Fraternity centered. Joining is really the only way to feel included on campus. Even student organizations such as Associated Students is dominated by the Greek System. Not to mention on the weekends the campus is extermely dead so it is the only means of activities. Drinking and drugs are done heavily.
