Schreiner University Top Questions

There is not much that I can think of that I wish I had known. I have no regrets about picking this school. One thing I wish I had known before coming to Schreiner is that the boys are on the third floor of Faulkner. They are always extremely loud, and even though something is said to them they don't stop. Also this school is so small and I didn't realize how fast news would travel. Everyone knows everyone and who has relations with who.

There is no real need for a vehicle while living on campus. All cources are walking distances.

How little amount of time 14 hours really is. How to study better.

That Schreiner University does not offer music classes like a regular state school does, its less intensive than getting a degree at a school such as UTSA. For my degree it is ok though because I want to teach elementary school.

That it does not offer many clubs, and if you want anything out of the ordinary you must start it yourself. Also, that it is a suitcase campus, where most of the people are from around the area and during weekends not a lot of people stay.

I wish I would have known how much playing a sport would influence who my friends are. One thing I was concerned about was meeting new people, but once I got to be around the softball team I made friends quickly. I also would have liked to be a little more familier with the campus and maybe where to find things.

If I could go back in time to high school, I would most definately have taken AP courses to get ahead and knock out some hours for college. To had been given the opportunity for free schooling and to be able to get college credit is amazing. College is so expensive and every hour of credit really counts in order to be able to graduate in four years. If I had taken AP classes I would be classified as a sophomore in college saving me thousands of dollars and time.

I wish I had visted the campus before attending. when I got here, i was a bit taken aboack by the state of the campus and my dorm. as much as the school costs, i expected a better first impression.

I wish that I would have realized how important high school really is. I used to think that getting into a college would be easy. BOY how I was wrong. I never took my SATs and actually didn't even graduate from high school. I am now 28 and had to study so hard just to be able to pass the placement test for college which I barely passed. I wish I would have prepared for college my freshman year of high school with studies and prep tests.
