Our cross-cultural experience (a required part of graduation). I am going to study abroad in Guatemala for a semester because Spring Arbor University sent an experienced professor down there so we can travel more efficiently and learn more effectively.

The relationships that I have built with friends and faculty through classes and extracuricular activities. At Spring Arbor, students form close relationships with their professors. I have professors who schedule meetings with students regularly with the intention of just talking about their day, and how they are doing. It is so great! The friendships that I have made in the time that I have been at SAU will last a lifetime.

I could never run out of things to brag about when talking to my friends about Spring Arbor. Above all else though, the community formed by the incredibly considerate and caring people at SAU make the campus experience out reach any other.

Our school is a place where everyone can find their "niche" and can make friends for life. The small atmosphere in the classrooms make it a great learning experience and the teachers are fantastic.

I brag about the sense of community. The support system I have aquired over this past semster is really remarkable. All of the professors here are very helpful and get to know students on a personal level. We are not just a number. Spring Arbor is the real thing when it comes to showing God's love. The opportnities to grow as a person are immense.

The things I am most proud of at my school are the phenomenal art program, which is one of the top programs in Michigan, and the quality of the staff here, which is excellent. Both teachers and administrators regularly go the extra mile to help out students with whatever they need, be it financial assistance, help finding a job, or help with coursework.
Sabrina
I really like the small town feeling. The professors are personable and the class sizes are small, which makes it easier to get help and it is also more condusive to learning. Professors can really get to know you on a personal level and can help you in your job aspirations later on.

Higher education has this idea in the back of all of our heads of being overwhelming, and at times it can. But just as anything else in life, when you have the feeling that you're not on your own it becomes a lot less intimidating. Spring Arbor is a place that allows for the individual to shine, and exceed their expectations, while having professors guide you and classmates walk beside you. Whether it's in the arena of academia or the social circles of life, Spring Arbor is a great place to have people journey with you.

The community of friends that are here. I love being surrounded by a community that is God based. I feel comfortable being myself here and I feel like it's easier to get to know people here. With the smaller class sizes you also get to develope close relationships with the professors here.
Katie
I brag about the spiritual life of my school. There are so many ways to receive growth in the area of your spiritual life. Also to name another would be how kind the people are here. To describe "people" better I would include the staff and the students. Everyone here at SAU have great compassion and when I chose this school I chose it because it shared my same interest to reach the world.
Andrea
I talk about how my campus is very social and allows everyone to fit in no matter what. Spring Arbor realy works as a community and involves every person in to the activities and not just sports.
Jessica
The class size is nice, also there is a variety of activities someone can do on their own (i.e. swimming, gym facility, etc.)
Nathaniel
The options I have of taking lots of different classes, that may not go with my Major, but are in my interest

When I talk to my friends about Spring Arbor University I always tell them that I love the small-knit community and all of the student events. One thing that I love are the coffee houses, they are put on once a month by students. During a coffee house we'll have either a guest singer or an open mic night where students can come and show off their talents. We also provide coffee, tea, pretzels, and other snacks for the students. I'm on of the students who helps put all of this together and I love helping out.

The thing I could brag about most is the commmunity. Everyone here is so loving and caring it's unbelievable. This school is like a second home for those of us who don't have a steady home. One can find so many caring people that really are here to help you.
Brittany
Spring Arbor has great professors who really care about their students and their successes in the classroom and beyond. We have small class sizes and lots of opportunities. We are always looking for ways to grow.
Jenna
My school is very small and its great! You know just about everyone on campus and you always have someone to spend time with.
Jordan
The small class sizes and the easy teacher-to-student interaction- they are very accessible.
Andrew
There is amazing dorm life here.
