the atmosphere is great and welcoming

The best thing about Saint John's University is the location. It is a school located in New York City, but because it is in queens rather than manhattan, SJU is able to have the best of both worlds. Quick access to the best city in the world while still maintaining a real campus feel and community. Initially upon entering people do not always connect with Saint John's but once they do, they're stuck, and love it.

The fact that it is small, but yet there are some many things you can get involved with. There are also tons of majors, and you can pretty much always get the classes you need. You can also quickly make friends within this environment.

At this school faculty and adminstrators are very accessable which makes it an easy transition for freshman and is helpful throughout the years. Also, the school keeps a very open mind, whatever if may not offer or have for student, it will try its best to get it on this campus.

Being close to the city! but still being able to have that small town feel on campus.

The learning enviroment because it so easy to go outside the classroom and do hands on activities.

The university provides different centers such as the math and writing that helps improves our skills to do better in that course.
