I came to college as an interior design/art education double major, and I wish that I had known that interior design wasn't what I wanted to do as a career. As a result, I lost fifteen hours that could have been devoted to art education., which has also kept me from being able to take electives since those Human Sciences classes now count as electives.

That it really didn't fulfill my needs in my major.

I would have liked to know more about the greek life and the pro's and con's of it.

This school offers alot of fun things to do, but be sure to check into the more wholesome ones or you will soon be going down a slipperly slope.

I wish i had learned to study in high school. It would have made college so much easier.

I wish I would've been a little bit more organized with time, and learned how to manage my time better. I think it's mostly due to being alone for the first time, and not having someone tell me when to do things and when not to do things.

How long it would take to adapt to the small town

I wish I had known how small the town is.

I wish I knew how good the Communication Department was before I came here so I wouldn't have wasted a year trying to figure out what major to decide on.

Nothing really. We found out everything we needed to know at orientation. The hardest thing for me was finding all my classes for that first time. So I guess what I really needed to know was just to know how to get around campus better.

The only things I wish I would have known before going to SFA was how the small town compares to the big city I'm from and how homesick I was going to be. However, in my case, I believe I would have be homesick no matter where I ended up going to school and the small town just contributed to my homesickness more. Now that I've been home, I loooove the small town and all the close friends I have been able to make and get to know so well, and I can't wait to go back!!
