dominick
a determined and intelligent person who is strong of will and mind
Marie
Students that come from a middle class or upper middle class family with network connections. The school is expensive and doesn't give out much aid to students who work hard. Also, the career center is picky on who they help out. They will bend over backwords for students who have high GPA's to get them a job when they graduate. I highly recommend you have a network you can rely on to help you get a job in this economy.
Arielle
I really believe that anyone could fit in here. At the same time, if you do not enjoy cold weather then Syracuse definitely isn't the right place for you. Syracuse is perfect for people who never really grew up and still like to play in the snow and go sledding.
jess
driven people should go to this school, and radical people should go to this school because its biggest faults are that people know what's wrong (i.e. financial aid, distribution of resources to student groups, imagined diversity, etc) but don't really speak up/make moves to change what's wrong.
Alex
A person who is wanting to find a field of study they really enjoy and plug into it. They should be prepared for the cold, but they should be prepared with the mindset of learning how to balance work with fun.
Angelica
If a person is into parties and Greek life, this school is for them. Grad programs here are also very competetive and satisfying. Also, anyone interested in communications would love Syracuse.
Caitlin
A person with a passion for either communications, business, or architecture
Tayla
Any type of person can attend Syracuse, there is a wide variety of people on campus. I would say that underlying, everyone is academically driven and wants to succeed in life.
Kiana
People that are ready for change and has something to offer to the University.
Rebecca
A person who is committed academically but knows how to balance social life and school. Syracuse University is extremely expensive, so you have to be willing to pay for it and make use of the education you receive. It's not a place to go where you might blow off your education and end up flunking out.
Nicole
Someone who is willing to tolerate people that they don't necessarily like and who will reach out to people to create friendships.
Catherine
Open-minded, fun-loving, academically focused but well-rounded. Has a sense of what they would like to do with their lives. A sense of loyalty to school and friends is important. A social person can thrive at Syracuse.
Jeff
Someone with money its kind of expensive.
Victoria
i think anyone could attend this school and fit in and/or do well there. although i'm sure that there is a fair share of republicans around campus, liberals seem to take the cake.
Katelyn
You should attend this school if you enjoy the perks of having both a campus and city, small classes and large classes, and working and playing hard.
