this school is for popular kids who want to continue high school without the unpopular kids, rules, and parents, and with way more partying. the academics are definitely very high quality, but don't go here unless you're interested in all of your conversations being about 'what happened last night'

Syracuse students and alumni bleed Orange! Even the surrounding area of townspeople love the University. It is just the right size - large enough to meet new people and the campus is beautiful, small enough to know your professors and classmates. Lots of majors to choose from. On campus life is wonderful, the freshman dorms are nice, and the food is good cooked served by their own dining employees plus lots of pop up cafes. Awesome DI sports too! Everyone gets involved to cheer them on!

I like it a lot. The academics in the school of architecture is exemplary. The professors work to help each student improve on their designs, and they were very accommodating once we switched to online education. The food in the dining halls is okay, and there is usually something you can find that is tasty and healthy to eat. There is not much to do in ways of shopping or eating out near campus, but one of the biggest malls in America is only a few minutes away via a free bus ride for students. There were some racist incidents on campus, but the majority of students came together to support one another and protest the horrible behavior and inadequate reaction from the institution. Professors were also very accommodating and supportive during this time by voicing their support for the students and accepting absences from students who felt unsafe after such incidents.

  6. Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

What is certainly unique about Syracuse University is the weather. Learning how to walk downhill in snow or thin ice is what makes my weekly routine interesting. But, the weather is just one part of the reason I chose Syracuse as my future alma mater. I considered Iowa State, Penn State and Rutgers. I got accepted to all. The reason I am in Syracuse University is because it allowed me to fulfill my future plans of becoming a physicist and a painter. Out of those universities I mentioned Syracuse allows me to combine those two majors.
