I feel that Temple is best known for its diversity, both ethnic diversity and personality diversity. There is a very liberal political demeanor here on campus that I feel overwhelms a purely democratic quest for knowledge. Regardless, students personal interests and views are held in high esteem, making this a good college for anyone with an independent frame of mind. Temple University is a great school for anyone who wants to experience a "city" frame of mind.

Our school is best known for its access to city life. We have an urban campus so its so easy to hop on the subway and visit an historical site or catch art showing in center city. Temple University is also a very diverse community, you will find students from nearly every continent at our university.

Temple is best known for its racially and ethnically diverse community ... I mean they practically drill it into your head every chance they get as the university home page reads: "Our student body is among the most diverse in the nation". LOL I love it though. Its wonderful to be able to sit in a classroom with two people who are completely unique to either side.
