What do you consider the worst thing about Texas A & M University-Commerce? Why?

Is hard to get stuff done if your not a freshman, like add/drop, register and that stuff. They need a few more people for just those services.

The worst thing about my school is the living arrangement for students with kids, or even students that are married. We have to live in almost 50 year old dorms. The freshmen and other students get newer living arrangements. They have new apartments that are not connected to the school that you have to pay out of pocket and they are really expensive. I feel we should be allowed to live i a nice well built environment especailly being that we have little children that need a safe place to live. Other then that the school is a great place!

Corey

I think the worst thing about my school is that it is too far away from a major city. A 20-60 minute drive is required for anyone wanting to get out and do fun things. Everyone leaves on the weekend, so unless you like watching T.V. and studying, there isn't much for you on weekends.

Academically speaking, professors relied too heavily on lecture forms of instructions as opposed to implementing various media. Tests were generated for only paper and pen/pencil responses. In other words, tests relied on the "remember and regergitate" format, as opposed to applying the information for real world experiences.

The availability of parking spaces. I live across town from the University and I leave my house 30 minutes early to try and find a parking spot and there is not enough space for all of the students who are attending the University to park so you drive around forever and sometimes are late to class because there isn't an available spot to park.

Tori

There isn't much to do in the town. Which can be agood thing, but it gets pretty dead.

Courtney

As a new student, I do not have much to say! I suppose the worst thing is that it's a bit of a drive from Commerce to my hometown in Rowlett. I get homesick.

Amanda

There is no school spirit. Hardly anyone goes to sporting events to wears clothing and accessories to support our school.

Tracy

I'm pleased with the university's performance. It's what you put in to it.
