I wish I had known people and had friends already here, waiting for me. I am a shy person, who's not that outgoing, so when I meet new people I get nervous. Even though I can talk to complete strangers at the supermarket or the mall while shopping, I can't seem to actually meet people and have them as friends. I get too nervous and start thinking that they might not like me, for a certain reason or another and end up keeping to myself, most of the time.

Before deciding on this university, I wish that I would have done further research on the curriculum. As I sat with a counciler deciding on my class schedule, I became agrivated. It seemed as though few classes for my major were in fact offered each semester. I learned that I needed to follow each course and sign up immediately for that particular semester as I saw the classes being offered. The majority of my desired courses pertaining to my major are not offered each semester.

How to put myself out there and not be shy. Instead of hiding out and being afraid i wish i would have learned sooner that if you let people know who you are, they will like you, and if they don't, that's just one person.

I would have like to known what kinds of degrees they offered in greate detail. I was a transfer from a community college and the degrees are different and so I was placed on the degree that would offer me the greatest adventage instead of the one that I wanted to be in when I grew up. Also now I have grown up and am trying to finish my degree that allow me to teach in the quickest route without all the extra classes.

Reading is so important. Your text book will be your best friend. Always find a reliable study partner in all of your classes.

Before I came to this school, I wish I had known how challenging it would be to earn a Chemistry degree. I am striving for a very prestigious degree and I am very proud. The science courses offered here are tough and requires a lot of hard work.

I wish I had known that the president of the college was an asshat.

That college men are no more intelligent or caring than high school boys.

I just wish that I had known about the actual city and how humid it is around here. I can't stand the beach and just the way people around here drive and how unfriendly they are in Corpus Christi.
