What is the stereotype of students at Texas State University?

Toby

The biggest sterotype is that TX State is this huge party school and that is all that we do.

Brandi

Texas State is just a party school. Everyone's in a Fraternity/Sorority and all they do is party.

Riley

That this is a "party school" and that the students who go here major in binge drinking. That since this is a "state school" that you don't get a quality education, and that this is a predominantly "white" school.

Kaitlin

That we are the students who didn't get into UT, that we aren't as good, as hard, or as accomplished as UT.

Jesse

Texas State is a party school, and it's a "back-up" school because students were not accepted into UT-Austin. People also tend to think our school is small for some reason...probably because its located in a small town.
