I think Texas State would be a great school for any type of person. I do believe though, that in order to do well here, you would need to be a dedicated and self-driven student. Having the opportunity to do so many fun, summer, water-related activities outside gives students an excuse to skip class or breeze by their homework or studying. I believe anyone could be happy here but succeding would be a matter of self-determination and will power. You have to be dedicated to make it at any university!!

Anyone! This school has a very friendly student body. Those who like to do things outdoors or like to work out would be happy here. Someone who does not put to much pressure on school, the atmosphere is reasonably relaxed while still being challenging.

A person that should attend Texas State should enjoy the outdoors and hills. The campus and the most hills I've ever seen. and a river running through the middle of it. I've never seen anyone not take advantage of the river!! Everyone is really laid back and likes to have fun, while still getting their school work done. It is a party school, but there seems to be a hangout for every type of person- the crazy outgoing people, the chill coffee shop people and the small hangout people.

The type of student who should attend Beloit College is one who is independent and ready to take on the world. At Beloit the curriculum is focused on breadth and depth and requires a confident student to conquer it. Beloit features one of the most diverse campuses in the United States and it takes a student who is able to adapt to many different cultural approaches.
