I love the convenienc eof the location, the ability to converse with other educated people, and the fact that there are many other students who are older and more experienced in life.

The school that I am attending is diverse and encourages socialization among students. This school also places a very strong emphasis on academics. With this school as with most other things if you work hard and put in the effort you will get the quality education you deserve This school also encourages that you study out of classes as well and leaves the facilities open for you. This campus has a friendly atmosphere that is positive and encouraging. The school does promote activities such as volunteering and community service. This also helps out the commuinity around the campus

The best thing about my school is the location. San Marcos is beautiful and its proximity to Austin leaves students with many options for entertainment. This makes it a fun enviroment to learn. Texas State is definitely located in the heart of Texas with some of Texas' greatest cities near by where students can experience many different culture aspects and broaden their learning.

The best thing, in my opinion about my school is its constant outreach to students whether it is through academic service such as tutoring or through organizations. Texas State is a great school to get involved in and I can promise anyone who decides they wanted to attend this college they too will be able to find a place where they belong and can grow in education as well as involvement and most importantly a place for spiritual needs. There are many programs such as bible studies, youth groups and churches close by and even on campus easily available.

Texas State University is equally diverse in every way. The social life at school is the best thing here. I love it because I have had the oppurtunity to meet so many people of so many backgrounds. Another great thing about Texas State are the professors. There so easy to talk to and easy to contact, which is great.

The best thing about my school is the facuilty. They are always willing to assist you and answer all your questions no matter how strange they might seem.

One of the best things that I love about my school is how diverse my campus is. There are thousands of different people I see in the quad every day, people coming from every race, country, and they all have different views on life. The diversity of Texas State is something I cherish because I get to meet so many people and see what and where they come from.

The professors are wonderful! Sure there's a "bad egg" that everyone tries to avoid, but overall the teachers are amazing. They all encourage (and even require) personal stories, contribution to the discussion, and very open to people's lifestyles. In fact - they welcome it. They want their students to see that there is more in the world than what you see in your backyard. They are helpful, approachable, and they show lots of patience with their students. They are, by far, the best thing at the school.

The best thing about Texas State is the campus. It literally runs right over a river, which is awesome for days you don't have to be in class. The campus is big, but not too big. It's just the right size and it is not overwhelming at all. Studens learn their way around very quickly! It's 30 minutes from Austin and very close to the outlets, so there is always lots to do on the weekends.

The professors. The professors at Texas State truly care about the success of their students. They want nothing but the best for us.

The teachers are willing to help the students. The school offers so many opportunities to the students such as internship opportunities and job shadowing. The school has many different speakers that visit, all with something to learn from and open to all students free of charge. The school is well retained and takes pride in it's students.

I think the best thing about the school is the campus and instructors. The campus is very easy to figure out if you are a freshman. It seems confusing at first, but everything is close even though it's a bigger school. The instructors are approachable and considerate of you as a student.

There are numerous resources offered and explained to all new students. There are many different ways for students to find groups to study, as well as several different places to recieve free tutoring. The resource center is also very helpful with helping students find jobs on and off campus to help pay for school.

The environment in which Texas State University is set is the best part of the University. The campus is set in the Texas hill country, and is absolutely beautiful. The San Marcos River runs through campus, with a park that is open only to the students and faculty of Texas State. The beauty of the campus and surrounding area makes it a wonderful place to live and learn. No matter what time of year, outside is the best place to be. I wouldn't want to learn anywhere else.

The great programs they have available. They have over 100 bachelors degrees and over 80 masters degrees and some great doctoral degree programs as well. Including things like a five year plan for accounting where you get your bachelors and masters after you are finished.

The best thing about Texas State University is that the professors are very knowledgable and approachable. I came to this universiy from a very small high school. I was very concerned that I would be lost in the crowd, however, the professors here let me know that they are here to help me. They have made my transition to college life very easy.

Texas State University is a big university with a small-town feel. The staff is the key to their success, from the professors to the cleaning crew, you can't find friendlier people. Everyone at Texas State is helpful and supportive and you just feel like you belong to this huge family or a very small town within a town.

The best thing about Texas State compared to other schools is the faculty. When I was visiting different campuses, the faculty made the biggest impact on my decision. At some of the bigger schools, a student can begin to feel he is just a number, however at Texas State that is not the case. The faculty shows a genuine interest in their students, which is why I feel that Texas State has some of the best instructors in the state of Texas.

What I consider the best thing about Texas State is the resources provided. There is a writing center to get papers reviewed, a lab to listen to speeches, a floor dedicated to helping students with classes, SI that sit in the classrooms and hold study sessions, and the list never seems to end. I am so fortunate to have all these programs without cost whenever I need it.

The best thing about this school is the football games. Its really neat to see how many students come out to support our team. Many students tail-gate before a game and its a great way to make friends or hang out and meet new people. Its also a great way to raise spirit for the team.
